DinerTown Tycoon Review
By Erin Bell
Local restaurant owners in DinerTown are alarmed when Grub Burger moves into DinerTown and starts stealing customers with its suspiciously addictive "Ingredient X" sauce. It's up to you to help local businesses win back business and drive Grub Burger out of town for good, but instead of a straight-up time management game like Diner Dash, DinerTown Tycoon is a strategy game that shares more in common with the likes of Pogo's Fairy Godmother Tycoon.Diamon Jones: Amulet of the World Review
By Tawny Ditmer
Adventure, artifacts, exploration, travelling across the world and stopping evil plots: all of these describe the new adventure game Diamon Jones: Amulet of the World. Take control of the haughty treasure-hunter Diamon Jones on his latest adventure that will take you across ancient Egypt, vast deserts, dense jungles, the mountains of Tibet and even the streets of London as Diamon helps a woman named Mary to restore order to the world.Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror Review
By David Tovey
Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror is a point-and-click adventure from Revolution Studios that was first released back in 1997 for PlayStation 2 and Windows PC but is now available as a download. Great characters, a good story, clever dialog, and superb voice-acting help make up for inconsistent puzzles, some of which are good and some are boring. The second game in the Broken Sword series, this is definitely worth a try if you like character-driven adventures.Something Special Review
Something Special is an upbeat, romantic comedy hidden object game by Brighter Minds Media. You'll take a journey around the country with Zoe as she searches for "Something Special" in various businesses and tourist attractions with the help of her Aunt Zandra. Unfortunately, the game itself isn't all that... well... special.Zoe is a bridesmaid in her sister's wedding and runs into her long lost aunt Zandra who everyone tells her she is just like. When asked why she isn't married yet, Zoe replies, she is looking for "Something Special" first and her Aunt Zandra who feels they have a lot in common too sends her on a whirlwind trip around the country visiting her friends that own various shops and museums.Quilting Time Review
If you want something different than your typical time management - hidden object - match 3 game, than maybe you should take up quilting...in a game, of course. Quilting Time is an original pattern-finding puzzler by Jenkat, where you get to help the enthusiastic Grandma Giddywinks make lots and lots of patchwork quilts. That's assuming you can keep up with the pace! If you've ever taken an IQ test, the game play will probably be familiar to you. It's very similar to the block design part of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale. There are four different game play modes, with adjustable difficulty levels, but the core mechanics stay the same.Enchanted Katya and the Mystery of the Lost Wizard Review
Enchanted Katya and the Mystery of the Lost Wizard is technically a time management and hidden object blend, although you'll find far more time management than hidden object tasks. When a famous wizard goes missing, his loyal student Katya takes over his potion shop. Can you help her solve the mystery of her mentor's disappearance?3 Days: Zoo Mystery Review
I thought I knew what to expect from 3 Days: Zoo Mystery. Same old cartoon panel storytelling, same inoffensive "cheap greeting card" art style, and the same overhead map with multiple locations to visit. Everything about Zoo Mystery's presentation screams "just another HOG." Everything, that is, except the actual gameplay.Drugstore Mania Review
GFI brings us yet another Cake Mania reincarnation with Drugstore Mania, a time management game that has you running around a pharmacy filling prescriptions for moon-eyed, cartoonish customers who honestly look like they don't need any more drugs. With tons of flowers and strange giggling, Drugstore Mania will have you wondering if you took something before you started playing the game.
