Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen Review
Serbian developer Eipix Entertainment is known for being a work-for-hire company and only recently began developing their own IP's (intellectual properties). The time spent working on other publishers' titles was obviously a good investment. However, as evidenced by the quality of the company's inaugural title, a hidden object adventure called Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen, they're perfectly capible on their own. The title, aside from a few niggling defects, is highly entertaining and extremely well-made.Virtua Tennis Challenge Review
For the first time, Sega has brought its famous tennis serious to mobile devices. Virtua Tennis Challenge is little more than a stripped down version of its console counterparts. You don't get to see big-name players like Federer, Nadal, or any of tennis' most famous women. The World Tour mode is barebones and there's zero online interaction. However, what it lacks in features and polish, it makes up for by serving up a great tennis experience.Sheep Up! Review
By David Oxford
Sheep Up! is a game with a fairly simple premise: It's up to you to guide a toy sheep from the bottom of the box of old toys it now occupies to the open top, and to freedom! Freedom from what, exactly, isn't clear: Freedom from the attic/basement? Freedom from a yard sale or second-hand store, and a fate involving sticky child fingers?Tiny Plane Review
By Dant Rambo
It's no stretch to say that flight is one of man's greatest accomplishments. It completely changed the way we travel, and introduced a new hobby to rich people everywhere. But what about dogs? Sure, they're occasionally allowed to travel on planes, but why have they been denied the chance to fly them? It's a hard-hitting question, and Chillingo's Tiny Plane is in search of the answer.Command and Conquer: Tiberium Alliances Review
By Tony Capri
While the console gaming scene has fast become the domain of blockbuster-style action romps, social gaming platforms have seen a renaissance of the strategy genre. Never one to miss the bandwagon, Electronic Arts (EA) has readied its flagship tactical franchise for the freemium market, and we're delighted to report that Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances wins another victory for fans of more methodical gameplay.Bee Leader Review
By Dant Rambo
I've hated bees for most of my life. While I was grateful for their contribution to making what is easily the best thing to spread on toast (take that, jam!), I'd been stung far too many times to think of them as good people. That is, until I played Bee Leader. It turns out bees have much harder lives than I thought. Sorry, bees.Slingshot Racing Review
While I certainly don't encourage you to actually gamble, there's one mobile games company that's quickly becoming one I'd be willing to bet on: Crecent Moon Games. From Paper Monsters to Deadlock: Online, they've produced some really great stuff. I'm happy to say that this time, working hand-in-hand with Frontier Developments on Slingshot Racing, their record will stay on track.Pastry Panic Review
By Dant Rambo
My first thought when firing up Pastry Panic was, "this reminds me of that bonus game from Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose for the SNES!" An odd comparison to make, I'll admit, but also a very apt one. Pastry Panic is a game that attempts to pluck at the heartstrings of those who gamed during the 8 and 16-bit era, a mission it pulls it off with gusto.
