Treasure Seekers: The Enchanted Canvases Review
By David Tovey
Treasure Seekers 2: The Enchanted Canvases from Artogon is a thoroughly enjoyable Hidden Object/Adventure game that shows that at least in casual gaming, sequels often improve on the original. Beautiful graphics, well-balanced gameplay, and puzzles that are engaging without being too hard combine for a game that's sure to be an instant hit. The young children from the first Treasure Seekers are now young adults. Tom, the brother, has gotten trapped in a mysterious castle in Hungary, and it's up to his sister, Nelly, to find him. She does so by working her way through six magical paintings, each a separate story for which she has to provide the happy ending.Mysterious Worlds: The Secret of Oak Island Review
By Erin Bell
For more than 200 years, treasure hunters and mystery buffs have been fascinated by Oak Island, a tiny place off the south coast of Nova Scotia, Canada that's rumored to be home to a cache of buried treasure. Many have tried and failed over the years to successfully excavate the island's fabled "Money Pit," which has only fuelled the legend further. You'll get to try your luck too in Cerebral Vortex Games' new hidden object game, Mysterious Worlds: The Secret of Oak Island.Crayon Physics Deluxe Review
By David Stone
Remember how your teachers always told you that doodling with your crayons all day long was a waste of time? In Crayon Physics Deluxe, not only will you be rewarded, it's the only way to play. The goal of Crayon Physics Deluxe is simple: propel the red ball into the star. But unlike most puzzle games, there truly are an infinite number of solutions for beating each of the game's 70+ levels. As the game's first screen states, "It's not just about finding the right solution. It's about finding the awesomest one." The reason for this is that you can literally draw anything you like, and it comes alive in the game's world.Fashion Finder: Secrets of Fashion Review
In Fashion Finder: Secrets of Fashion, you play as Abigail Andrews, roaming the streets of New York armed with just a Blackberry and an unerring sense of style. Snapping pictures of the hottest trends, your goal is to impress your boss, the editor of a major fashion magazine. It's a great premise, but the game is so obnoxious and poorly done that you'll probably give up on Abbie before she makes it to Fashion Week. Most of Fashion Finder's hidden object scenes skip the usual many-itemed lists in favor of following a single theme. You might have to find ten different coats, various kinds of rain gear, or a dozen items covered in polka dots. It gels well with the game's plot, but it takes away some of the challenge.Youda Marina Review
Beachfront property? Check. Some cash in the bank? Yep. A desire to build up a successful marina? You bet. So long as you've met these requirements, you can create and maintain a thriving harbor in Youda Marina. This business sim with a time management element might take a while to wrap your head around but offers a deep and enjoyable game if you're up for the challenge. The overall goal of this marina simulation is to build a beautiful - and efficient - marina, but in order to get there you perform dozens of smaller goals such as docking motor boats, creating attractions to make for happy guests, and of course, raking in plenty of cash (which can then go towards newer facilities to keep everything running smoothly).Asami’s Sushi Shop Review
As any sushi chef will tell you, making sushi is a serious art that requires years of training to master. That's the idea behind Asami's Sushi Shop, a match-3 restaurant game that has you learning the ropes and filling customer orders with frantic tile matching.Asami's grandfather is ready to pass on the family's sushi business, and he believes Asami has what it takes to become a sushi master. Before he can give her the business, she needs to prove herself and learn the sushi-making skills of an expert chef.Star Trigon Review
By Jim Squires
Life has never been easy for the Uchujin. First they spend their lives underground, and now they find themselves trapped in outer space! It's up to you and your team of space-faring rescue heroes to bring these poor little critters home. Based on an obscure arcade title from 2002, Star Trigon brings all the fun and challenge of this intergalactic rescue operation to your home computer.Righteous Kill 2: Revenge of the Poet Killer Review
By Erin Bell
The hidden object game Righteous Kill 2: Revenge of the Poet Killer continues the story of Erica, an NYPD Detective who belongs to the specialized Vigilante Unit. This time, she's on the trail of the Poet Killer, a madman who enjoys leaving tantalizing notes behind at the scenes of his crimes. Like the first Righteous Kill game, Righteous Kill 2 has very little to do with the film of the same name starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Think of it as a direct sequel to the Righteous Kill game rather than any kind of nod to the movie.
