Mystery P.I. – Lost in Los Angeles Review
By Tawny Ditmer
SpinTop's Mystery P.I. - Lost in Los Angeles is the fourth game in the Mystery P.I. hidden object game series. In it, an important and exclusive copy of the most important blockbuster movie of the year has gone missing. Using your skills of observation, you must find and recover the missing film.Hotel Mogul Review
All is fair in love, war, and business. At least that's the case in the time management and building simulation Hotel Mogul, where the unfortunate protagonist Lynette has just gotten a rotten deal in divorce court!iCarly: iDream in Toons Review
Stop me if this sounds familiar: You fall asleep watching a cartoon marathon and find yourself in a dream where your friends have all turned into cartoons. This is precisely what Spencer Shay is going through while dozing in front of the boob tube. Before he wakes up, though, he needs to solve the mystery behind who transformed his buds Carly, Sam and Freddie into colorful cartoons, and why.If you're up for the challenge, consider downloading Nickelodeon's iCarly: iDream in Toons, a new hidden object game ("HOG") designed for kids and teens. While not a flawless adventure, this personality-driven puzzler delivers some fun.Scrabble Plus Review
By Jim Squires
Scrabble may be universally loved, but it hasn't really offered anything new to spice up crossword formula since the game debuted in 1938. That's more than 70 years with nary a tweak to the rule book. Previous releases like 2006's Scrabble Deluxe have done a tremendous job of perfecting Scrabble's board game to video game transition, so what's left to tackle? If you're behind the recently release Scrabble Plus, the answer is "a lot."The Magicians Handbook II: BlackLore Review
By Meryl Evans
Ahoy! The Magician's Handbook returns for another adventure. Instead of exploring a cursed valley, the hero goes on a quest to rescue fairies from the dread pirate Blacklore. The Magician's Handbook 2: Blacklore beautifully integrates the game with the story so everything has a purpose, something few hidden object games pull off. However, it has a few flaws that turn the magical journey into a challenging one, maybe too challenging.Create A Mall Review
The modern shopping mall is a magical place, filled with gleaming riches, scrumptious culinary delights, technological marvels and exotic imports from far-off lands. All of which are yours to enjoy, of course, in exchange for braving the milling throngs and endless sea of parking spaces. Thankfully, business simulation Create a Mall puts the power to build a better shopping center in your hands, giving the people what they want while also raking in a healthy income. We just wish the creators understood a simple underlying principle: Time equals money, and you'll be aghast at just how much can be wasted on any given session.Kuros Review
As Katya, you're in a bit of a high-pressure situation in Kuros. Someone has been tampering with the glyphstones that keep the world in balance, and you're the only one who can restore them. Unfortunately, you've woken up with no idea of who you are, where you are, or what you're supposed to be doing. Hope you're a fast learner, or it's the end of everything.Kuros bills itself as a hidden object game, but that's a bit misleading. You will have to scour locations for items, but they're the tools you'll need to solve the game's many puzzles, so it's more like a classic adventure game.Room Boom: Suburbia Review
By Jim Squires
When most people think of property ownership board games, they think of Monopoly. My heart goes out to those people. If their thoughts first go to Monopoly, chances are they have never had the chance to enjoy sublime tabletop experiences like Carcassone or Settlers of Catan. Room Boom Suburbia is an all new property-owning experience that has far more in common with the latter than the former, even if its virtual nature means there's not actual board involved.
