The Timebuilders: Caveman’s Prophecy Review
By David Becker
If you always wanted to learn how the cavemen left their caves, The Timebuilders: Caveman's Prophecy might have a far-fetched, yet entertaining and quirky answer for that. The sequel to The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising goes back in time even further, presenting to the player a prehistoric era with dinosaurs, mammoths, and houses that look more like caves. While we were not overly impressed with the predecessor, we can definitely say that the second part of the series has improved in nearly every respect.Dracula: Love Kills Review
By Andy Chalk
There's too much unintentional hilarity in Dracula: Loves Kills for it to work as a serious vampire tale, but if you can either overlook (or embrace) the hackneyed character art and voice acting, and don't mind some rather uninspired bits of mini-gaming, you'll find that it's a very entertaining and surprisingly lengthy hidden object game with an unexpected and most interesting twist.Munchies’ Lunch Review
By Alicia Ashby
Munchies' Lunch is a pleasant surprise as casual puzzle games go, offering gameplay with actual depth and a family-themed story that has actual heart. In Munchies Lunch, you play the matriarch of a family of bouncing cartoon heads that must skillfully outwit enemies as she tries to gather food and water. Her family is on the run from monsters who've driven them out of their forest home in a scenario that is inspired by Footloose Games President Vlado Jokic's youth escaping from the Yugoslavian civil war.Puppy Sanctuary Review
OK, I'll admit it. Upon firing up Puppy Sanctuary, I grimaced in anticipation of a game I expected would be shallow, short and unbearably saturated with saccharine cuteness. What I didn't see coming was a well-crafted game defined not by schmaltzy sweetness but by a winning combination made up of an entertaining pet sim and challenging match-3 gameplay.Joining Hands Review
In Joining Hands you're in charge of the Peablins, who believe that as long as you're holding hands while walking through the Whispering Woods then the bogeyman can't get you. So it's up to you to make sure all the Peablins have a hand to hold to solve each level. Contrived? Sure, but it's a puzzle game, so I give them credit for injecting a story into it at all... and I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me smile when I first read it.LandGrabbers Review
LandGrabbers is a sort of a Risk-like area control game that's inspired by real time strategy and even a little bit of tower defense, though you neither build towers or control units directly. You'll be in charge of an army tasked with taking over all the control points of each map, marked with buildings. Your job is to swarm and take over each of these unoccupied or enemy buildings using your units.Hotel Dash 2: Lost Luxuries Review
By David Becker
If there is one thing about Dash games and their storylines that makes you either hate or love them it's that they are incredibly cheesy, and Hotel Dash 2: Lost Luxuries is no exception. The sequel to Hotel Dash makes you wonder just how many festivals and lost or run-down hotels/restaurants/etc. can exist in one modestly-sized town, and how quickly Mr. Big changed from a major villain to a sweet grandpa figure for Flo and her gang.Love Chronicles: The Sword and the Rose Review
By Andy Chalk
Love Chronicles: The Sword and the Rose opens with a foreboding yet lovely animated sequence that not only sets the stage for the game but also sets expectations very high. Does the game live up to them? In a word, yes. This lengthy, well-crafted fairy tale is easily one of the finest hidden object adventures I've played in a long time.
