MANOS: The Hands of Fate Review
Ever go back and play some of your old favorite games from when you were young? It's a satisfying and painful experience. First, the glorious glow of nostalgia envelops you, bringing you back to a time when control was fantastic, levels were thoughtful, and games were so carefully constructed. Then you get to "the hard part", begin a flurry of curses that would make the devil himself blush, and go on a rant about how terrible your childhood's games were.
Slydris Review
Slydris is a brand new puzzle game where you take pieces that drop from the top of the screen and place them into lines where they then get cleared. If you can't clear the pieces effectively enough and they reach the top of the screen you lose. Sound familiar?
ORC: Vengeance Review
This past Christmas I got myself an iPad. For years I had been listening to podcasts in which video game luminaries spoke praises of the mobile device. I understood the iPad to be some sort of ice breaker crunching its way through frozen waters, forging a veritable northwest passage through the calcified husk of popular gaming. When I finally got my hands on one, I wouldn't say I was disappointed. I enjoyed a solid month of new games, sampling different genres and exploring the platform's departures from the norm. I wouldn't say I was blown away either, though.
9 Innings: Pro Baseball 2013 Review
Games that try to be all things for all people naturally make us a little skeptical. So if I said that there's a mobile baseball game for iOS and Android devices that blends simulation, action and fantasy sports together, I wouldn't blame you for giving a Dwayne Johnson-esque raised eyebrow in response. The thing is, 9 Innings Pro Baseball 2013 blends all of these elements of the diamond together into a pretty satisfying whole.

Just as real-world researchers have long been focused on discovering the lost city of Atlantis, so too have game developers worked on creating virtual environments detailing its discovery and origin(s). But while Eternal Journey: New Atlantis may outwardly seem like another clichéd title to throw into that group, it quickly changes shape, becoming a highly polished and incredibly entertaining science fiction tale set in the far future on Mars.
