Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga Review
For the last few months, the games coming out of ERS Game Studios have been going steadily downhill. ERS cranks games out at breakneck speed, and it's possible that at this point, the pace of development has begun to negatively affect product quality. The company's last two releases, Redemption Cemetery: Grave Testimony and Dark Alleys: Penumbra Motel were both far from amazing, and its latest release, Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga, is the weakest yet seen.
Blast-A-Way Review
Blast-A-Way is a devious game, and that's something every player must come to terms with. If it wasn't, it wouldn't bombard you with colorful obstacles and force you to rescue the poor, innocent "Boxies" that inhabit its world. But you can't be too mad at it, really. The game only does these things because it loves you, and wants you to have fun. Isn't that sweet?
Tap Campus Life Review
School bells have started ringing in the new semester with shrill, brass voices. It's time to sit your butt down in a chair and do some learning. Ah, but if you're going back to college or university, you have a little control over your own destiny. Will you focus on your studies, or will you revel in the party life? Pocket Gems' Tap Campus Life lets you indulge in the latter via a social/house-building game that's not unlike The Sims.
The World Ends with You: Solo Remix Review
A week ago, I reported on the speculation that Square Enix's cult classic RPG The World Ends With You would be making the jump from Nintendo DS to iOS. As it turns out, speculation was right! So for most of the days that followed, I've been lost in dystopian Shibuya, Japan, determined to see if this version - dubbed Solo Remix - would be as strong an offering as the original. As it turns out, it isn't: it's much stronger.
The Walking Dead: Episode 3 – Long Road Ahead Review
I felt like Episode 1 of The Walking Dead was better than okay, but not by much. The storyline was good, but the gameplay seemed to flounder a bit, not sure where it wanted to concentrate. Episode 2 honed the story down to a razor's edge of awesome, and the gameplay was tightened up to serve the game's quiet moments as well as its pulse-pounding action ones. I'm happy to report that Episode 3 doesn't regress at all.
Deponia Review
I sometimes ask myself, "Do I like adventure games for what they are, or do I just like the idea of them?" My Steam library is full of them. The Dig, Indiana Jones, Loom, Machinarium, The Secret of Monkey Island, Sam & Max (lots of Sam & Max), Time Gentlemen, Please! -- I have quite a backlog. Of these games, I've played only a quarter of them to some degree of completion.

There is no syringe, silly. You're on top of a train, and you've got to put out a cabin fire. By peeing on it. No, you're not on a hallucinogenic trip. Even better: you're playing McPixel.
ETERNITY WARRIORS 2 Review
Dungeons are moist, which by default is unpleasant because of the word that describes them. They are a place where light and warmth are absent; where darkness and chills live. Nothing good ever happens in dungeons. That's what makes the battle that Eternity Warriors 2 fights that much more difficult. The entire game takes place in a dungeon. Can Glu Mobile's latest title hack and slash its way through the dreaded dungeons of the App Store, or will it get trapped in the lightless corners of unnoticed releases?
