In MumboJumbo's fifth installment in the 7 Wonders franchise, 7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover, we continue to see some of the most highly polished match-three play this side of Bejeweled, with an interesting Wonder/city-building mechanic thrown in for depth. The 7 Wonders series has never been known for complex storylines and extraordinary gameplay variety, but this series continues to be one that's easy to start playing, yet incredibly hard to put down.

It's election season for politicians across America as they battle to be the representatives of their constituents. It's always election season in the App Store--games and apps of all sorts vie for a position at the top of the chart, earning them even more attention from other potential supporters. Not unlike politicians, some apps just want to give the people what they want, whereas others are after the money of their supporters. If only we could elect Om-Nom from the Cut the Rope franchise; now there's a guy I'd give money to.

There's no question G5 is aware of what makes a compelling game. With engaging titles like Special Enquiry Detail: Engaged to Kill, Supermarket Mania 2, and Virtual City 2 under their belt, I generally put faith in their ideas—including their recent decision to bring 1997's Pilot Brothers: After the Striped Elephant to iOS, as just Pilot Brothers. Unfortunately, this is one game they should have left in the past.

As a fearless warrior, you must use your abilities to traverse the broken landscape, breathing life into your world and restoring it to its former glory.
