Life is Magic Review
By John Anthony
There's magic in your neighborhood. Plus orcs and elves and demons and wizards. You probably didn't notice it with just your eyes, which is where Life is Magic enters the scene. The free-to-play, location-based dungeon crawler turns the earth into a fantasy battleground, allowing you to cooperate with and compete against your real world neighbors for resources. It'd be a shame if their power suddenly went out, wouldn't it?Cordy 2 Review
TV-like electronic beings shouldn't be so adorable. Cordy 2, from SilverTree Media, is a platformer starring a cute little robotic hero named Cordy who's just trying to rescue all his friends. They've been stolen away by the evil Boogaloo and his goons, and waiting between Cordy and his gang are treacherous teleporters, unlockable areas, and puzzles. Cordy's got his work cut out for him, but you'll have a blast with him in this colorful little game bursting with personality.Breakfast at Tiffany’s Broadway Review
By Nadia Oxford
If you were born sometime past 1980, you can be forgiven for only knowing the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany's through Deep Blue Something's hit song. Regardless of your age, it's worth picking up the original Breakfast at Tiffany's novel or watching the movie; the romantic comedy showcased actress Audrey Hepburn in what many consider to be her finest role. But even if you're not in the mood to crack open a book or burrow into a film, you can still enjoy the Breakfast at Tiffany's Broadway reflex game for iOS. It's a one-note app that obviously exists to advertise the Broadway show, but it's earnest and hard to hate.Relic Rush Review
By Mike Rose
One-button games are totally my cup of tea, as are pixelated visuals. I'm also rather prone to enjoying games that are constantly trying to kill me. With this in mind, Relic Rush should be right up my alley - I mean, just look at it! It's a thing of beauty!Chimeras: Tune of Revenge Review
The hidden object game genre carries along with it many common tropes, with its collection-based gameplay and puzzling plots that must be put together piece by piece. Sure, each game casts a unique art style and thematic glaze over the whole experience, but it is within the details of the plots that many of these games really get to flex their creative freedom. The results may not always be enthralling or captivating, but once in a while a gem shines through with an original story to tell, one beyond simple mystery devices and the who-done-it blueprint, one which delivers a tale really worth investigating. Chimeras: Tune of Revenge is one such game.Bloody Epic Review
The automatic runner is a genre that refuses to die. There's little innovation that takes place among this vast group of games. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as some of the best games are more polished than they are innovative. Then there's Bloody Epic, a brave attempt at taking an otherwise bland runner and fusing it with solid RPG elements. The result is a game overflowing with ambition, but lacking in polish.Hackycat Review
By Joe Jasko
Do you ever get tired of playing the same old boring game of Hacky Sack? You aren't alone. Well what if I told you there was an exciting and challenging new way to play Hacky Sack, by kicking something that was a little more, uh, naturally aerodynamic? Still listening? Good, because now I present you with Hackycat by Ken Wong: one of the best mobile time wasters I've played in a very long time.Hotel Story Review
By Nadia Oxford
If hotels could talk, what kind of tales would they tell? Maybe the bar would wax poetic about the travelers it served from around the world. The sheets, on the other hand, would just scream, and scream, and scream. Hotel Story for iOS doesn't feature any talking fixtures; despite its name, it's just a hotel-building sim. There's little here that you haven't experienced before, though it's relaxing to watch your little guests bustle from place to place.
