Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny Review
By Andy Chalk
Towel Fight 2: The Monocle of Destiny is a smart, silly, crazy game packed with some of the most creatively bizarre dual-stick shooter action you'll ever run into. I'm not very good at it, but I keep going back to it, and I keep having fun. This game is a blast.Big Fish Bingo Review
By Nick Tylwalk
Bingo seems like the perfect choice for the current mobile gaming environment since it's inherently social. Though now that I think about it, most of the social interactions I remember from bingo involve older folks yelling at me and my brothers for sitting in their seats and disturbing their mojo. In any case, Big Fish Bingo makes a valiant effort to spice things up for today's mobile gamers but can't escape the inherent limitations of bingo itself.Letter Rush Review
By Joe Jasko
I'd like to think I'm pretty good with words. After all, I do spend my days here at Gamezebo pouring out hundreds of them. But it's amazing how quickly you forget how to spell the most simplest of things when panic sets in, and you see all these other words rushing towards you with no signs of slowing down. This is Letter Rush, and it's here to put your spelling skills to the ultimate test! The Royal Trap Review
For the last decade, Georgina Bensley, founder of visual novel/RPG-making company Hanako Games, has brought us anime-inspired, female-friendly fare packed with action, romance and feats of derring-do. This month, Bensley takes us on yet another fascinating—if somewhat imperfect—adventure in her company's latest visual novel, The Royal Trap.Heroes from the Past: Joan of Arc Review
By Brandy Shaul
Heroes from the Past: Joan of Arc has an impressive start, as players are invited to enter the world of Joan of Arc, a world filled with peasants and farmers only trying to survive while constantly watching out for tyrants that will burn their crops for fun. After this initial voiced cutscene however, the game starts to fall apart, with rather slow gameplay that won't be for everyone.Pearl’s Peril Review
By Joe Jasko
Pearl's Peril is the first foray onto the Facebook hidden object scene by wooga, the social games developer of Monster World and Diamond Dash fame. In the game, you play as Pearl, a young female pilot in the bustling 1920s who leaves the life she knows behind to uncover the truth surrounding her estranged father's alleged suicide, setting off on a harrowing adventure that takes players halfway around the world.Speed Kills Review
By Leif Johnson
You have to admire a game that starts out with such a bizarre line as "Welcome to the friendly world of DEATH RACING." At the very least it's worth your attention, and I myself went into Speed Kills expecting more laughs and a racer that doesn't take itself too seriously; where warrior maidens cheer me on for being such a good sport as they poke my car full of rocket holes. I could have loved such a game. Alas, Speed Kills takes its gritty setting seriously after all, and while I enjoyed its races and wide variety of tracks, a sprinkling of questionable design decisions and controls left my enjoyment somewhat in the dust.Purple Cape Review
By David Oxford
On the surface, Purple Cape seems to have a lot of promise, combining physics-style touchscreen gameplay with platforming action. Unfortunately, no matter what color the cape, players will more likely be left just seeing a lot of red by the time they're finished with it.
