Stickets Review
I had been playing Stickets for three hours straight without realizing it. The doorbell rang, and I had to look away to the real world to answer. Except I couldn't focus; the outline of bright yellow and blue squares still clouded my vision, seared into my brain from focusing on them so long. I returned to playing. Didn't I care who was at the door? It wasn't more Stickets, so no.Quadropus Rampage Review
By Andy Chalk
From the minds that brought you Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny comes Quadropus Rampage, an "endless rogue-like brawler" starring an octopus with four arms and his pet starfish Bingo, as the duo undertake an epic and awesome quest to strike down Pete, the wicked God of the Sea.Bucketz Ride Review
By Joe Jasko
A sequel to last year's quirky and well-received Bucketz, Bucketz Ride expands the basic physics-puzzling formula of the first game, and adds some interesting new twists and designs to always keep those buckets half full. Bucketz Ride is certainly a strange beast of a game, and while I can't say I particularly enjoyed the overall ride, I do have to admit that I've never played anything quite like it on the App Store before.SpongeBob Moves In Review
By Nadia Oxford
SpongeBob Moves In is a city-building game that lets you assemble a life for Mr. Squarepants. You know, just in case you weren't totally convinced that he does live in a pineapple under the sea. SpongeBob Moves In lacks polish and is slow and clunky at times, but its biggest sin is its price: the game costs $3.99 USD, but expects you to buy and dish out premium currency at the same pace as its free-to-play brethren. Talk about a monetization scheme that's worthy of Squidward's deepest frown.Off the Record: Linden Shades Review
By John Anthony
Off the Record: Linden Shades is an original release from Eipix, creator of Amaranthine Voyage: The Tree of Life and Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen. It's a classic hidden object game in many ways, by dropping a lot of the exploration and inventory management features in exchange for good old fashioned mini-games and hidden object scenes.Thor: Lord of Storms Review
By Rob Rich
Thor tends to get a lot of attention, thanks in no small part to his own comic book series, but it's not often that the rest of the Norse clan get to share in that spotlight. Thor: Lord of Storms pulls back the camera a bit to include other notables such as Odin, Freyja, Einherjar warriors and more, as they defend their home from evil in the form of a hero-driven castle defense game.Pixel Rooms Review
There's an almost admirably masochistic aura around players who plow through room escape games like 100 Floors or DOOORS. While some of their levels require creative thinking to reach discernible solutions, many end up feeling like a slideshow of designer dream logic mixed with gyroscope gimmickry. Pixel Rooms avoids this pain point by featuring truly intuitive puzzles, but ends too quickly to leave its mark on the genre.Sparkle 2 Review
Marble shooters are a dime a dozen, but the better ones always stick with you. Case in point: Zuma. Sparkle 2 is an example of a similar outing that could coast along on the success of the games that came before it, but it's actually a slick and entertaining alternative that will very easily usurp hours of your time if you're not careful.
