Contra: Evolution Review
Like a sneeze, Contra: Evolution made an abrupt appearance on the App Store at the start of June. But as quickly as you could say "gesundheit," CocoaChina removed it from the service, stating that "The version that was (briefly) available was the version built for the Chinese app store, but CocoaChina is building a version optimized and translated for western audiences. They're still in the development stage of that version, but the plan is to launch it at some point later this year." CocoaChina added that they were "definitely considering the best available options for people who purchased the earlier version."
Diner Dash Rush Review
Diner Dash Rush takes PlayFirst's iconic time management franchise in a whole new direction. Rather than focusing on a down-on-their-luck business owner that needs Flo's help to save their restaurant, Diner Dash Rush simply throws players into a daily grind as they're challenged with earning as many points as possible using Flo's new tools (and new look). Unfortunately, this is one experience that quickly turns from fun into one that has you asking "now what?"

Over a year ago, I gave the first Witches' Legacy game, The Charleston Curse a glowing review. That game, with its creative approach to well-worn themes, slick presentation, and impressive attention to detail, deserved high marks. Dark Manor is a brand new spooky hidden object social game from Big Fish Games, with a unique strategic and city-building twist. In the game, you'll be guided by the two ghosts of your great ancestor's deceased wives, who lead you on a journey to restore your family's haunted manor in all of its ghastly glory. Because hey, as luck would have it, you happen to be able to see and communicate with these ghosts as well!
Knights of Pen & Paper: +1 Edition Review
When you've got an already awesome retro RPG, there's only one thing to do to make it even more awesome: make it +1, naturally. Okay, sure, a +3 game would be even better, but let's not get greedy. Knights of Pen & Paper: +1 Edition brings the same charm and adventure of the original release to PC, Mac, iOS and Android, allowing even more people to get in on the fun.
Monsters University Review
Monsters Inc. and Monsters University are powerhouse Pixar licenses, so it's not unheard of to expect bigger, better things from their tie-in products. There's a huge budget there to draw from and plenty of source material, so why do these games more often than not turn out so bland? Monsters University, available on the iDevice of your choosing, is a by-the-book endless runner with two distinct mini-games that comprise two halves of the game.
