Fireproof Games has announced today that the mysterious epilogue chapter they've been teasing for their popular puzzle-adventure game The Room will be making its anticipated debut in a free update this Thursday across all available platforms. The Room is an incredibly atmospheric first-person puzzle game of sorts, in which players must scour every inch of a shadowy room to find the means to unlock a series of intricately crafted boxes, filled with just as many secrets.
Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement that Level-5 is hard at work on Layton 7 for mobile devices, today we learn that the established developer of puzzle games has another ambitious project already waiting in the pipeline: an immense and highly enthralling fantasy RPG called Wonder Flick. This also follows up on the news that the sixth game in the series, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, would be the last to feature series namesake Professor Layton as the main protagonist.

Depending on your specialization or location, yesterday might have been a pretty rough day if you worked at Big Fish. Let's say you were one of the team members working on Big Fish Unlimited, the company's attempt to popularize cloud-based gaming. Or maybe you worked in their offices in Vancouver, Canada or Cork, Ireland. All of these things are closing down, and a sizable number of jobs are going with them.
