Cipher Prime on PAX 10 success, Auditorium Duet [interview]
For an independent game developer, landing a spot on the prestigious PAX 10 list is the ultimate dream. Every Penny Arcade Expo, a panel of 50 industry experts converges to select the 10 most prominent current indie titles. Amongst this year's PAX Prime winners was the atmospheric puzzle title Splice by Cipher Prime. We loved it, and we're glad the PAX panel did, too.Neverwinter lead Andy Velaskez talks the importance of player-created content [interview]
The Neverwinter name is over 20 years old, and has become a longtime piece of canonical history in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The lands have been long regarded by fantasy fans for its excellent role-playing history, specifically across the classic Neverwinter on AOL and Neverwinter Nights series'. In the latter content creation played a big part for most players, and when word came out that Neverwinter would be seeing release in the form of a free-to-play MMO, fans were worried that this major aspect of creation would remain untouched.Diablo veteran David Brevik talks Marvel Heroes [interview]
There are few games that appear they'd be a surefire hit right out of the gates, but Marvel Heroes is pretty hard to bet against at this point. The Diablo-style, Marvel-encased dungeon crawler promises thousands of relevant characters and settings from the popular Marvel universe. It also promises to be free, making it one of the most eagerly awaited PC titles this year.Replay Wednesdays: Tiny Bang Story, Bastion and more!

We cover plenty of new games here at Gamezebo every week, but the number of games we've already covered that show up on new platforms? It's staggering. And who doesn't love new(ish) games?Football fanatics release updated version of Tecmo Super Bowl
By Dant Rambo
A group of dedicated fans from TecmoBowl.org have released an up-to-date version of the classic Tecmo Super Bowl for NES. Featuring a current roster (as of 9/2/12), improved controls and 32 teams to pick from, it's quite possibly the coolest way to kick off a football season that I've ever seen.Developers react as Steam implements $100 fee for Greenlight
By Eli Cymet
It seems the light in Valve's community-driven game approval system has been proverbially downgraded to yellow. In an announcement pushed out September 4th, the company identified a "significant amount of noise and clutter" being submitted to Greenlight, resulting in less than ideal discoverability for worthy projects. As a result, they've added a $100 submission fee (which Valve will donate to charity) for all hoping to post their potential next big thing.Games of the Month – August 2012
By Dant Rambo
I'm working on a bit of a conspiracy theory. August is the eighth month in the year, and we're going to share the six games we liked the most from that month. If you add six and eight you get fourteen which, divided by two, equals seven. July is the seventh month of the year, and we shared six games with you that month as well. That alone is suspect, but the plot runs deeper.Edmund McMillen Interview, Part 5: Oh, the Horror!
By Dant Rambo
Welcome to the fifth and final part of our interview series with Team Meat's Edmund McMillen. One quick thing before we begin: The Basement Collection is out today! In fact, I'm writing this as quickly as I can so I can fire it up and check out all the awesomeness. And with that out of the way, let's get on to today's entry. It's quite short, but when you read it, you'll no doubt see that we saved the best for last. McMillen has ambitions to make a horror game, and while the project is up in the air at the moment, he was kind enough to share a few details with us. Enjoy!
