I don't want to impart my beliefs on anyone else, but I personally feel that Vikings are one of the coolest things ever. And to take that even further, I think they make great protagonists in games. If you don't believe me, then clearly you haven't played The Lost Vikings for SNES/Genesis. Additionally, you've probably not heard of The Banner Saga, an upcoming turn-based strategy game that puts players in the role of uber-powered Vikings.

With the holidays fast approaching, it's high time we put our gaming rivalries aside and work together towards a common cause: improving the lives of the less fortunate. I know, achieving a goal of this stature typically requires a lot of work and time, neither of which are plentiful in the month of December. But Zynga is looking to play middleman and streamline the process with the "Oh, What Fun!" campaign, which enables users to contribute to the Toys for Tots charity by playing select games.
