Kabam acquires Exploding Barrel Games
Kabam, "the leader in free-to-play games for core players" and the team behind the hugely successful Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North, have announced today their acquisition of Exploding Barrel Games. You may know Vancouver-based Exploding Barrel Games for their popular (and equally delicious) Margaritaville Online Facebook game, and for their contributions to the Need for Speed, Skate, FIFA, and SSX franchises.

We at Gamezebo are big fans of Steam's Greenlight service, as evidenced by our recurring Greenlight Spotlight feature. So whenever Valve announces that a new batch of games are heading to Steam, we throw confetti around and binge on cupcakes. This is the fourth time we've done this, and boy do our stomachs hate us.

It's starting to stress me out, and besides, publisher Sega has just announced that the game will be making its way to PS3 and Wii U on January 22, followed by Steam and Xbox 360 on January 23.

A website for ZyngaPlusCasino has surfaced online, and it looks to be the much-anticipated platform for Zynga's online gambling service in the U.K. The website currently features a graphic of some familiar Zynga character silhouettes, including the iconic FarmVille cow, along with the enticing heading, "Coming Early 2013."
