Greenlight Spotlight: Evoland
By Joe Jasko
Whether you're only into games with stunning HD graphics, or strictly prefer the retro look of your dust-covered Super Nintendo cartridges, I think everyone can at least agree that video games have come a long way since the days of The Legend of Zelda on the NES. In fact, the NES Legend of Zelda was the first console game capable of saving the player's progress, and imagine where we'd be today without that!Free Games & Sales: Final Fantasy VII, Mutant Mudds and more!
By Jim Squires
While we may never get the Final Fantasy VII HD remake fans have been clamoring for in the last decade, last year Square Enix gave us a pretty nifty treat - a PC re-release available exclusively on their store! If you didn't manage to pick it up when it launched, you'll be glad you waited. By Dant Rambo
In November of last year Double Fine funded an internal game jam by allowing people to pay whatever they wanted for access to the prototypes that came out of it. Gallant recently revealed via Twitter that he is currently out of work after his employers caught wind of I Get This Call Every Day, a game criticizing the banal minutia surrounding an average day working at a call center.Valve’s Gabe Newell gives talk at UT about future of living room gaming, the threat of Apple
By Dant Rambo

Sony and Microsoft will release their new consoles, sure, but they'll be up against a whole new cast of competitors, such as Android-based consoles like the OUYA and the forthcoming third- and first-party Steam Boxes. And while Microsoft and Sony are surely quivering in their boots at the potential of the Steam Box, the feeling isn't necessary mutual: as far as Valve co-founder Gabe Newell is concerned, the real threat here is Apple.Indie Royale’s Evolved Bundle is by far Darwin’s favorite
By Dant Rambo
No word of a lie, I had plans to spend most of this weekend outdoors. The cold was finally starting to let up in my neck of the woods, and the thought of sitting inside and missing out on some good old vitamin D seemed downright criminal. That is, until Indie Royale launched the Evolved Bundle.FarmVille 2 debuts new character
By Dant Rambo
Farm life may seem mundane and predictable from the outside looking in, but it can actually be rather exciting. Sometimes the animals wreak havoc; other times a guy named Gus shows up looking for help with his romantic life. Wait, that second one may be exclusive to FarmVille 2.
