Join Numbers is basically two games in one. Half of the time you’re leading numbers down an obstacle-filled track, picking up new integers to try and get the best possible score at the end of the run. The other half you’re fighting out a turn-based battle between two armies to earn cash to increase the power of your castles.

That’s quite a lot to take in, so we thought it was a good idea to write up a guide. These strategies cover both sides of the game, and should put you in the best position to succeed. Whether you’re struggling with the running or the war, there’s going to be something here to take your skills to the next level.

It doesn’t matter if you’re just adding up your first numbers or you’ve already unlocked some new castles, this guide is going to help you make the most of your time with the game. So let’s get on with it, shall we? Here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Join Numbers.

Lift to stop

Sometimes you want to stop moving, perhaps to wait for a moving obstacle to get out of your way. To do that, all you have to do is lift your finger from the screen. It’s a super-handy thing to know and it’s going to save you an awful lot of problems. It’ll also let you keep your numbers, which is super important.

You can dangle

It’s also good to know that you can dangle your numbers off either side of the track. This makes it much easier to avoid the obstacles, since you can stick your numbers well out of harm’s way. When you’ve got a longer number, it’s basically impossible to protect it if you don’t dangle it.

Put the new number high

You want to put any new numbers you’re collecting as far to the left of your row as you can. That way, they’re worth a lot more. The only time this isn’t the case is with zeroes. You can drop them at the end of the row and they’ll be as useful as if you pop them in the middle of your number.

Multiply first

When you’re fighting the armies, it’s a good idea to use any multiplication cards you have as early as possible. That way you’re starting off with a huge force that your opponent has to chip away at. They might hit back with a divider, but you’ll be in the best place to absorb such an attack.

You can use cards on both armies

You can use both green and red cards on both of the armies. This can come in super handy when you’ve got the switch armies card. Switch early on and attack the force you’ve got. Eventually your opponent will have to use their own switch card and you’ll end up with a super powerful force.
