Zombie Paradise – Mad Brains is the latest game to jump on the Battle Royale band-wagon. But this doesn’t mean it lacks creativity if you get bored with Battle Royale’s then there are plenty of other game modes to enjoy. These include a 1v1, 2v2 and a survival game mode against the zombies.

General advice

If you haven’t played the game yet, allow me to save you some time. There is little point fighting other players in the state you are in, instead you should try the “Survivor Mode”. In this game mode, it’s you versus the zombies for as long as you can. Collecting coins in this mode will carry over to your overall balance, which will help your progress in the long run.

What did I mean when I said: “the state you are in”? Well, in Zombie Paradise, the more you play the better guns you will unlock. So fighting other players with the standard revolver is only ever going to end in one outcome. It makes sense to save 250 coins and get to level two before you enter the world of PvP.

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

Now I have gotten that weight off my chest, I can give you more specific tips and cheats for each game mode. There are four modes in the game and most of these tips transpire across them all. Any experience you have with PUBG during the Resident Evil update or Fortnite zombies will help you here.

  • Focus on the players. In the PvP game modes, the zombies that spawn are an added distraction. If you have to choose what to shoot, choose the enemy players every time. They deal more damage and have more health, so it makes no sense to shoot the zombies first.
  • Do I even shoot the zombies? Shooting the zombies in PvP has more consequences than benefits. Shooting will reveal your position to other players, and you will have less ammo in the clip when other players confront you. So it’s in your best interest to avoid confronting them as they won’t win you the game.
  • You can walk through props. When I say this, I don’t mean every single obstacle in the scene. I mean certain small obstacles like tombstones, coffins or piles of tires. These are obstacles you could use to hide from the enemy or effective means of cover. Remember, if you can walk through them then zombies can too.
  • Roll like crazy. This may not seem like much of a tip, but rolling really is the most useful button in the game. You can lunge at other players with deadly speed and you can use the roll to run behind cover. You are much harder to shoot while rolling, and it recharges incredibly quickly.
  • Avoid going blow for blow. Most the time you and your enemy have the same gun which means you have the same problem. You both require a certain amount of shots to kill each other, which means if you trade each shot you will be on very low health after your first kill. You need to duck and weave in order to not be shot, and supreme accuracy to land all of your own shots. Master this and you will be very hard to kill.
  • Don’t play PvP with a pistol. If you play the PvP game modes and don’t win, you will receive zero coins and zero fame. What this means is that you have wasted your own time and have not progressed at all. You need a good gun if you want to win, and winning is the only point of playing. There is no second place, just progress or no progress.
  • Double your rewards. Whenever you get the chance, double your rewards. It will mean watching a 30-second video, but it is worth it in the long run. Earning coins or tapes take a long time in this game, the free coin and tape recharge are over 5 hours. Be sure to maximise your earnings wherever you can.
