What Does “You Sense a Strange Presence” in Fire Force Reignition Mean?

To quickly answer the question, when you see “You sense a strange presence”  in Fire Force Reignition on your screen, it means you’re currently working through the Steeled For Death progression.

Once this text appears on your screen, it means that Noru has spawned, and you can speak to him. He spawns in random locations across the map!

You need to talk to him to unlock Steeled For Death once you meet all requirements, which are:

• Reach level 50
• Unlock Maximum Press of Death
• A sufficient number of Grips (must be player Grips)

You cannot obtain Steeled For Death without completing the full mastery of Press of Death.

Unlocking Steeled For Death

Now that you know the requirements for Steeled For Death and the on-screen text you need to look out for, let’s go over it all in more detail. If you meet the requirements, Noru will start the Steeled For Death progression questline; however, the ‘strange presence’ is Noru himself. He should spawn even if you don’t meet the requirements, but if you can’t find him, he’ll definitely appear once you do!

How to Unlock Steeled For Death V2

To obtain Steeled For Death V2, you must first complete the Adolla Burst questline by speaking with Cain in the Adolla Realm. After completing this, you can speak to the ‘Noru??’ NPC who also resides in the Adolla Realm.

You need to earn Corruption by completing the monster slayer quests from Reggie, battling against the Evangelist, and defeating enemies in Adolla. To check your current Corruption, talk to Kota in the Adolla Realm!

As you progress, you will have a Purified Orb. You then need to take this to the Corrupt Altar in Adolla to corrupt it. Once you return to ‘Noru??’, they tell you to visit The Evangelist’s Castle for a battle. Upon completion, you unlock Steeled For Death V2.
