Which Rods Can You Wish for in Fisch

Nate, the creator of Fisch, shared on Twitter some of the rods that players can wish for when the event begins on December 24th. This includes:

• Past Event Rods
• Level Requirement Rods
• Black Market Rods
• Music Venue Rods
• Old Quest Rods
• Currently Obtainable Rods

Nate also shared some rods which players cannot wish for, including:

• Developer Exclusive Rods
• Trophy and Reward Rods
• Content Creator Rods

How To Wish For Rods

When Fischmas rolls out on December 13th, players will get a letter addressed to Santa which reads:

“Dear Santa, For Fischmas I want: ______, Sinscerely [Player Name]. Merry Fischmas!”

To find this letter, look on the right side of your game screen and select the letter icon to trigger the pop-up. The event to wish for rods officially begins on December 24th and concludes on December 26th, giving 48 hours to make your wish.

Before then, writing the name of a rod into the letter won’t count as a wish.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Q: Can I wish for any rod?
  • A: No. Rods such as Developer Rods, Exclusive Rods, and Creator Rods will not make the Fischmas Wishlist.
• Q: What happens if I wish for a rod that’s above my level requirement to use?
  • A: If your Rod wish is granted, the Rod will remain in your inventory until you reach the level requirement to use it. For this reason, I don’t recommend wishing for Rods that are level rewards, such as the No-Life Rod at Level 500, etc.
• Q: Which Rod should I wish for?
  • A: I recommend wishing for any rod that’s caught your eye in the past that you were never able to grind for. Rods that are still obtainable feel a little fruitless to wish for free, since you can take advantage of the variety pool and get something long forgotten. Though, respectfully, with so many to choose from, you should just aim for whatever your heart desires.
