If you’re following a Treasure Map to find a chest, this is one of the most important items you will need!

Where To Get A GPS

There are currently two locations that sell a GPS. They cost 100C$ in both locations, so it doesn’t matter where you buy them from.

• Moosewood
  • You can purchase a GPS in Moosewood. It is located near the pond past the Merchant NPC on top of a chair.
• Mushgrove Swamp
  • When you arrive at Moosewood at the docks, you’ll want to head to the left-hand side and walk straight. You will see a large wooden tower that has a ladder leading up. Climb to the top and you will find the GPS, alongside a Security Guard NPC.

How To Use It

To use your GPS, equip it from your inventory, and your character will hold it in their hand. Your exact coordinates will now be shown at the bottom of your screen.

If you have a Treasure Map, you will need a GPS to follow the coordinates that lead you to the Treasure Chest (once you have spoken to the Jack Marrow NPC). We have an in-depth Fisch Treasure Map Guide that goes into more detail!

Sadly, you can’t input the exact coordinates into the GPS to follow, which makes finding the chest a little trickier. However, a nifty trick to know about is this:

• To go to an ‘X’ coordinate, head East
• If you want to lose an ‘X’ coordinate, head West
• To go to a ‘Z’ coordinate, head South
• If you want to lose a ‘Z’ coordinate, head North
• The ‘Y’ coordinate is based on whether you are up or down the map
