Roblox’s big new event has many players asking the question: just what is The Hunt in Roblox? If you’re one of these wonderers, then read on for a detailed answer to your question. You can check out The Hunt: First Edition for yourself via Roblox right now.

What Is The Hunt In Roblox?

The Hunt: First Edition is two things. It’s a Roblox experience, and it’s a cross-game event that spans a total of 95 different Roblox games. The two aspects of The Hunt are linked, and in this guide we’ll break both of them down.

Before we start, it’s worth noting that The Hunt is a limited-time event. It will be running until March 29 2024 at 5PM ET, so make sure you grab all the badges and rewards you want before then!

The Hunt Experience

This is the front-facing side of The Hunt: a playable Roblox experience that serves as a hub for the games taking part in the event. The experience consists entirely of a circular room, with portal-like doors running around the edge. There are 95 of these doors in total, and each takes you directly to a Roblox experience that’s taking part in The Hunt event when entered.

It’s worth noting that you don’t have to enter an experience through one of these doors to complete its Hunt content. Entering it normally through the Roblox client works too, this is just a more immersive way to do it!

The Hunt Rewards

The Hunt experience is also where you can redeem the badges you earn from completing Hunt quests in-game for rewards. The following cosmetic items are up for grabs. Some are only available on the Gold Track, which needs to be purchased with Robux.

  • Vault Holo-Compass – 5 Badges
  • Infinite Holo-Pendant – 5 Badges (Gold Track only)
  • Staff of the Vault Explorer – 20 Badges
  • Infinite Holo-Scepter – 20 Badges (Gold Track only)
  • Vault Explorer’s Wings – 40 Badges
  • Infinite Hunter’s Wings – 40 Badges (Gold Track only)
  • Vault Explorer’s Cowl – 60 Badges
  • Infinite Hunter’s Hood – 60 Badges (Gold Track only)
  • Vault Explorer’s Crown – 95 Badges
  • Infinite Hunter’s Crown – 95 Badges (Gold Track only)

The Hunt Event

Now Let’s get into the real meat of The Hunt: the event itself. 95 different Roblox games are taking part in The Hunt, and each has added a new quest for you to complete. For each one you complete, you earn a badge. You can keep track of these back in The Hunt experience, by checking the doors. If a door has a tick on it, it means you’ve earned a badge for that game.

The tasks you need to complete to earn these badges are varied, but all are themed around Easter in one way or another. Expect to see a lot of rabbits and egg hunts if you plan on getting all 95. We’ve covered many of the quests elsewhere on the site, so use the following links to navigate to the ones you’re struggling with.
