Wedding Dash 4-Ever – Game Introduction

Welcome to the Wedding Day 4-Ever walkthrough on Gamezebo. Wedding Day 4-Ever is a time management game played on the PC created by Playfirst. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide to how to complete Wedding Day 4-Ever.

Main Menu

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Play – Press this to start the game. If it’s your first time, you will enter your name and then watch the comic book style introduction.
  • Options – Change the volume settings for music and sound.
    • Tip: Always keep the sound effects loud enough to hear. Time management games use sound to indicate changes in mood, ready items or other indicators that are important to gameplay.
  • Options – Select to play in full screen (default) or not, mute all noise, play in Normal or Firecracker mode, and you can watch the credits.
  • Comics – You can rewatch the comic book scenes.

Gameplay

  • There are no timers or trophies.
  • New elements (guests, disasters, etc.) are always introduced at the beginning of a level.

Reception:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • The majority of levels. The level introduction screen explains the Collectibles’ goal and the score required to meet either the Goal score or Expert score. Click Next to start a level.
  • Always read Quinn’s comment at the beginning of every reception for tips on how to pass the level.
  • Seat each guest according to their request which appears as a thought bubble above their head.
  • Click on the seated guest and Quinn will walk over and take their gifts. Quinn can carry two gifts at a time. There is no chain bonus for gifts (see Chain Bonuses for more information).
  • Each guest gets fed a three-course meal (appetizer, entrée and cake). First click on the appetizer tray and Flo will pick it up. Each tray starts off by carrying three items. When a guest has a thought bubble for a course, serve it to the guest.
    • Tip: When a serving tray is empty, it will be immediately returned to the table. Click on the empty tray to have Quinn help restock it.
  • When the request bubble appears for dancing, click and drag the guest to the dance Floor.
  • When the sign reading Last Guest appears at the waiting line, no more guests will appear.
  • As the game advances, other elements are added, such as disasters and guests’ requests.

Requests:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Kiss Request – Guests want to see the newlyweds kiss. Drag the newlyweds to the wedding arch.
    • Tip: The newlyweds can only be moved if they have no request bubbles.
  • Speech Request – A guest wants to make a speech. Click the microphone to have Quinn get it and give it to the guest. Does not break a serving chain (see Chain Bonuses for more information).
  • Picture Request – A guest would like to have their picture taken with the newlyweds. Drag the guest and the newlywed couple to the wedding arch. This will not break a dance floor chain bonus.
    • Tip: The newlyweds can only be moved if they have no request bubbles.
  • Cocktail Request – A guest would like a cocktail. Click on the cocktail table to have Quinn pick one up and serve it to the guest. Does not break a serving chain (see Chain Bonuses for more information).
    • Tip: Quinn can carry two cocktails at once. If she has picked one up by accident, click on the garbage (right of the screen) to dump it. You will lose points for this.
Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Souvenir – Give a souvenir to a seated guest to cheer them up.
  • Coffee – Give a cup of coffee to an eating guest to speed them up.
  • Collectibles – Each reception level has a secondary goal, for example finding all the roses or missing earrings. Completing the secondary goal earns you points towards the final score of the level, as well as earning presents for Quinn and her wedding.
Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • The Collectibles’ status appears above the gift table (yellow circle in above screenshot). When all items have been collected, the status becomes a gift (screenshot below).
Wedding Dash 4-Ever

Ceremonies:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Mini-puzzle. Optional to play (can be skipped) however playing it earns tokens for upgrades.
  • Seat each guest for the wedding ceremony.
  • Each guest has a request for a side and a seat:
    • Pink request bubble – Bride’s side.
    • Blue request bubble – Groom’s side.
    • Colourless request bubble – Either side.
    • Then seat the guest in the appropriate chair, either according to symbol or next to another guest.
  • To make things easier, seat one side, then the other.
  • You have a chance to replay the level at the end if you weren’t successful.

Conga line:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Always starting with Quinn, draw a straight line up or down, left or right, from guest to guest until you end up at the newlyweds.
  • You have a chance to replay the level at the end if you weren’t successful.
  • Tokens are earned gradually, based on how many people you got into the conga line.

Level completion

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • The level completion screen indicates the number of tokens earned.
  • Completing the Collectible challenges earns Quinn a present for her wedding. Click the New gift received! Click here! button to open and see the present. There is no need to do this every level until the end of the game.
  • Click the Continue button to go to the next level.
  • To pause or return to the main menu, click Pause.
    • Resume – Continues the level.
    • Help – The Help guide.
    • Level Map – Return to the level map.
    • Options – Allows you to adjust the volume for the music and sound, as well as switching between playing Normal or Firecracker mode.
    • Restart – This restarts your current level. You will have to repurchase your upgrades (this gives you the opportunity to select a different upgrade, if you wish).
    • Quit – Returns you to the main menu.

Scoring

  • Accumulate enough points to go to the next level. Each level has a Goal (minimum number of points needed to go to the next level) and an Expert score.
  • Surpassing the Expert score earns you more tokens to use towards upgrades (see Upgrades for more information).
  • You can replay levels in order to earn an Expert score.
  • Points are also earned by solving the smaller side challenge in each level.
  • Creating chains increases the amount of points earned (see Chain Bonuses for more information).
Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Happy request bubbles are round. Unhappy request bubbles are zigzaggy.
  • Do not let guests get unhappy or leave as points will be deducted. If available, use a souvenir to cheer up a guest or disco lights to cheer up the entire room.
  • Get Quinn to immediately divert a disaster otherwise guests get unhappy and points can/will be deducted.
  • Newlyweds – The newlyweds are great ways to earn extra points. If possible, always leave one or two seats free to accommodate the newlyweds’ requests. Later in the game, they’ll order cocktails when seated (200 points). As well, when the flirt bonus is available, try to leave two empty seats side by side.
  • Seating guests – Guests have a request for where they sit. Match the request to earn points.
    • Tip: Once you seat a guest and they accept it (i.e., you earn the points), their original request no longer counts. This comes in handy when their request bubble was to not sit beside a particular guest. Once they accept their seat, you can sit the undesired guest beside them.
  • I received Expert on all levels. Towards the end of the game, I had to replay a few levels to earn Expert. The guests and the requests are the same each time you play the level so if you are having difficulty, keep playing and learn the requests. The only thing that changes up are the extra requests (i.e., cocktails and kisses) and some disasters.

Chain Bonuses

  • Chaining means to perform the same action multiple times in a row, for example serve appetizers to all the seated guests before serving the entrées.
  • Chaining increases the points awarded for actions.
  • Chaining is crucial to earning Expert in all levels.
  • Appetizers/entrées/cakes – 20 points each (Flo actions).
  • Dance Floor – 30 points (player actions).
  • Seating – 30 points (player actions). Points are only awarded if you sit the guests according to their requests.
    • Tip: Let guests accumulate at the waiting line. It makes accommodating requests easier when all the guests need to be seated.
  • There is no chain bonus for finding all the Collectibles or for Quinn taking gifts.
  • Dragging a guest to the dance floor will not break a food service chain.
  • Scoring: For this example, Flo will serve only appetizers to six seated guests. This creates an appetizer chain. The scoring works like this:
    • Appetizer – 20
    • Appetizer x 2 – 40
    • Appetizer x 3 – 60
    • Appetizer x 4 – 80
    • Appetizer x 5 – 100
    • Appetizer x 5 – 100 – not a typo! The points max out at x5 however all subsequent chain items are served at the x5 point value.
    • Tip: When a serving tray is empty, it will be immediately returned to the table. Click on the empty tray to have Quinn help restock it.
  • Quinn diverting a disaster will not break a chain. Bringing cocktails or the microphone to guests will not break a chain. Kisses or photos will break a chain.
  • Tip: If you have a few guests to seat and you cannot accommodate their requests, seat them anywhere. In the long run, it’s better to get an appetizer, entrée, cake and dance floor chain bonus then to wait to meet their seating request.

Upgrades

  • Before each reception, you are able to upgrade the various stations of the reception hall.
  • Earning Expert on levels earns you more tokens for upgrades.
  • During a level, if you decide to replay it (from the Pause button), you also have to rebuy your upgrades. You don’t have to make the same upgrades.
  • At the Upgrade screen, click on an item to read about its upgrade. Click Cancel to close the window or Upgrade to purchase the upgrade.
Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Waiting Line – Guests will be more patient while waiting in line. One time per venue upgrade.
  • Wedding Arch – Guests and newlyweds will be happier. One time per venue upgrade.
  • Tables – Guests will be more patient at the table. One time per venue upgrade.
  • Power Walking – Speeds up Quinn. Progressive upgrade.
  • Cooking 101 – Speeds up the chef. Progressive upgrade.
  • Dishes Trays – Increases the amount of dishes on the trays. Progressive upgrade.
  • Running Shoes – Speeds up Flo. Progressive upgrade.
  • Later in the game, you can purchase/upgrade the disco lights, photo area, coffee machine and souvenir bags.
  • Start off by upgrading the tables, waiting line and Flo. Then upgrade the chef and amount of dishes Flo can carry and Quinn. Save upgrading the wedding arch for last.
  • Tip: In this walkthrough, I’ve listed what I recommend to upgrade. It is your choice what you would like to upgrade.

Guests

  • Keep guests happy by serving them quickly and honouring their requests. This involves balancing time and space constraints and achieving chain bonuses.
  • Newlyweds like to mingle with their guests.
    • Watch for their request bubbles and accommodate them when you can (they are extremely patient).
    • The bride and groom will each eat a three course meal so pay attention to what they’ve already eaten.
    • When they don’t have a request bubble, move them back to the wedding arch to seat waiting guests. This will also trigger a new request. Try and time their eating with the other guests in order to earn chain bonuses.

These guests do not cause disasters nor extra work:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Maricruz – Patient, fast eater.
  • Derek – Patient, slow eater.
  • Bernie – Patient, slow eater.
  • Seth – Impatient.
  • Mei Ling – Impatient.

These guests create disasters or require extra work

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Rosy – Eats very slowly if seated next to another guest. Her dog runs off, creating a disaster.
  • Hal – Eats two servings of each; he is a fast eater. Hint: Serve Hal first, then serve the other guests, then serve Hal again to keep the chain going.
  • Kyle – Fast eater. Gets carried away on the dance floor.
  • Janet – Patient, slow eater. Her perfume causes a disaster.
  • Grandpa Norbert – Slow eater. He won’t have food request bubbles so you have to remember what course he’s expecting before he gets mad (and to get the chain bonus). He falls asleep.
  • Chloe & Kathleen – Must sit next to each other. Kathleen starts food fights.

Disasters

  • Some guests create disasters. When these happen, click on the disaster bubble immediately and Quinn will rush over to solve the problem. The longer it takes for Quinn to get there, the surrounding guests will get mad and you can/will lose points.

Disastrous guests:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Rosy – Her dog will run away and she’ll start crying. Send Quinn to Rosy, then find the dog and click and drag it back to Rosy.
  • Kyle – He gets carried away on the dance floor. Send Quinn to calm him down.
  • Janet – She sprays perfume. Send Quinn to stop her.
  • Grandpa Norton – He falls asleep. Send Quinn to him to wake him up.
  • Kathleen – She starts a food fight. Send Quinn to stop her.

Other disasters:

Wedding Dash 4-Ever
  • Wedding Crashers – Click and drag them out of the reception immediately or they’ll anger the newlyweds.
  • Disastrous Decorations – When the decorations fall, send Quinn to fix them, otherwise the newlyweds get angry.

Sitting them side by side gets a 200 point flirt bonus and continuously seating them next to requested guests (even while serving food) will get a seating chain bonus.
  • Disaster introduction – Female wedding crasher (circled in red in the screenshot).
    • Tip: The wedding crasher will have a request bubble so be careful not to seat her.
    • Tip: In addition to hearing the wedding crasher humming when she’s in line, the exit sign will shake.
