Warriors of Waterdeep is a brand new mobile RPG that challenges you to build your own adventuring party of heroes and then tackle a wide variety of dungeons, all in the name of gathering loot and levelling up.

In this guide, we’re going to give you a bunch of tips and tricks to help you build the most powerful adventuring party in no time flat.

Warriors of Waterdeep Tips and Tricks:

  • Pay attention to the arrows: During one of your character’s turns, you’ll see arrows displayed above each enemy’s head. The colour of the arrow details how much damage you’ll deal to that enemy: green enemies will take a lot of damage, yellow a normal amount, and red less. Choose greens before yellows before reds. If an enemy has no arrow above their head, you can’t attack them.
  • Upgrade gear and characters between levels: Each time you complete a level, your heroes will earn experience and items that will help them grow in power. Always check the hero page to see if you can level anything up so you can make future levels easier.
  • Always enter secret rooms: When given the option, always enter secret rooms. These provide you with extra treasure if you manage to complete them, and you’ll want all of the treasure you can get.
  • Take out the character who moves next: The circle surrounding a character’s level details who will attack next, with the circle that’s the most full by the character who will move next. While we’d still maintain that you should attack the enemy that you’ll deal the most damage to, this is worth paying attention to in a bind.
  • Never skip a turn if you can avoid it: There’s no point skipping a turn, as you’ll gain literally nothing for doing so. Given that every single skill in the game has a possible second effect, it makes more sense to do something than nothing. Even moving might trigger a second effect, like a taunt, heal, or a reduction in cooldowns. At the very least you should move.
