Learn all about VV Ultimatum Titles in my guide, from the titles you can obtain, what they do, and how to get them. I also go over whether or not titles are important in VV Ultimatum.

The VV Ultimatum Gauntlet is worth doing if you want a bunch of titles. When you beat each challenge for the first time, you’re rewarded with the corresponding title. There are currently 5 Gauntlet Challenges to take part in.

VV Ultimatum Titles

Some games attach buffs to titles, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in VV Ultimatum. Right now, they’re just used as cosmetics to show off your achievements.

The main way of getting titles in VV Ultimatum is by unlocking achievements. This includes Gauntlet challenges, which you need to unlock by completing ‘The Gauntlet’ quest, boss fights, and more.

You can pick up this quest from Fort Adams by speaking with Edmordt, who stands by the Gelum statue. The Gauntlet quest requires you to craft Dark Spirit Alloy, crafted with: 4x Dark Essence, 1x Great Soul Essence, and 1x Spirit Alloy.

All Titles and How to Get Them

There aren’t many titles in the game at the moment, unless I’ve missed a few. Any titles that aren’t included in the list below will eventually be added once I find them.

Do You Need Titles?

As titles are purely cosmetic as of right now, you don’t need them. They do look cool, but with no additional buffs, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get them.

If, in a future update, titles get a rework, we could see a variety of new buffs or passive abilities. Unfortunately, for now, they serve no other purpose than to be a cosmetic appearing above your avatar.

When Do The Required Bosses Spawn?

To unlock two of the Gauntlet challenges, you need to defeat a few bosses in the open world, all of which have specific spawn times and locations.

These bosses are: Lord Nivis and Junichiro for The Unparalleled challenge, and The Grey Hunter and the Parasite for the Seen Beyond challenge.

Lord Nivis

Lord Nivis spawns at 20 minutes past every odd hour during the day, for example, 3:20, 5:20, etc. He spawns in the Arctic Plains.

Junichiro

Located in Hueco Mundo, Junichiro spawns at 20 minutes past every even hour of the day, such as 2:20, 4:20, etc. When defeated, he drops 7 Boss Chests, which can include the Precision Slicer Skill Essence.

The Grey Hunter

Like Lord Nivis, the Grey Hunter spawns at 20 minutes past every odd hour [3:30, 5:20, etc]. As for the location, you can find this boss in the Soul Societ Outskirts.

Parasite

The Parasite boss spawns in the Human World at 20 minutes past every even hour [2:20, 4:20, etc].
