VV Ultimatum Gauntlet [How to Unlock and Rewards]

The VV Ultimatum Gauntlet mode features five challenges to beat, all of which provide a range of rewards. These rewards include titles, buffs, and some of the rarest items in VV Ultimatum.

The statue of Gelum plays a big part when it comes to the VV Ultimatum Ascension system, too.

VV Ultimatum Gauntlet

To access The Gauntlet, you need to head to Fort Adams in search of the NPC, Edmordt. He stands by the statue of Gelum, which you may recognise from the tutorial mission.

How to Unlock The Gauntlet

After talking to him, you unlock the quest, ‘The Gauntlet’. 1x Dark Spirit Alloy is required to complete this quest, which is different to the regular Spirit Alloy material. To get Dark Spirit Alloy, you need to craft it.

The recipe requires:

• 4x Dark Essence
• 1x Great Soul Essence
• 1x Spirit Alloy

Once you’ve crafted the Dark Spirit Alloy and handed it over to Edmordt back at Fort Adams, you can now access The Gauntlet. To do so, interact with the Gelum statue and choose the challenge you want to take part in.

All Gauntlets

At this current time, there are 5 challenges in total via The Gauntlet. Each challenge features multiple waves and grants a variety of rewards once beaten.

Originally, there were 3 challenges available: The Terrible, Dangerous Wanderer and Predator Chain. In a recent update, two more challenges were added to the game. To unlock them, you need to defeat Lord Nivis, Junichiro, The Grey Hunter, and The Parasite.

The Terrible

  • Monster DMG increases by 2.5%
• 1x Clan Token

• 1x Focus Elixir
• The Beastslayer [Title]

Unparalleled Strength

Unlocking this challenge requires you to defeat Junichiro and Lord Nivis in the open world first.

To gain access to this challenge, you must defeat The Parasite and The Grey Hunter first.
