There’s only one Ascension level right now.
The VV Ultimatum Ascension system is one of the best ways to strengthen your character. It requires quite a bit of gameplay, though, as you need to reach level 100 in VV Ultimatum before you can start.

Once you reach level 100, Kuchiki mentions the statue of Gelum. If you remember, you first saw the statue during the tutorial when you started the game in Fort Adams. In fact, Gelum is the first boss you ever fight. After speaking to Kuchiki, you unlock the quest for Ascension.
To actually ascend, you need to interact with the Gelum statue in Fort Adams.
The whole point of Ascending is to unlock a variety of utility stat buffs and earn rewards. Ascending doesn’t reset any of your progress, like some games, and instead provides permanent buffs.
As this is a new feature in VV Ultimatum, there is only one Ascension level to unlock at the moment. In future updates, additional Ascension levels will be added.

These are the rewards you get when you Ascend for the first time. For future Ascension levels, the rewards may differ, but we won’t know until additional levels are released.
Not to be confused with the Ascension system in VV Ultimatum, the Ascension Fragment is something completely different, but still important to know about.
Ascension Fragments are used to level up your skills, kind of like how Skill Points work. Each skill has a cap of 6 Ascension Fragments, adding up to 6 additional levels to your skills.
The item itself is of the Legendary rarity and can be obtained via boss fights and raids. At times, they may be available via codes, but it depends on which codes are currently active.
Be careful when using Build Reset Tokens, as the levels you unlock with Ascension Fragments are not refunded. So, once you use Ascension Fragments, there’s no way to get them back.
You also cannot sell them for Soul Tokens. If you have Ascension Fragments in your inventory, they’ll remain there forever until you use them, so don’t worry about accidentally getting rid of them.
