Everyone loves a long-winded quest, right? Depends on the person, I guess. Anyway, the Void Fishing Omnivorous Rod quest takes a bit of time, mainly due to a pesky countdown.

One of the new quests in Void Fishing is called ‘One With the Storm’. The requirement is to have a fruit bonus and an ‘active power rush’ ahead of a lightning strike 15 times. The reward for completing the quest is none other than the Omnivorous Rod.
To get a lightning strike, you need to wait for the ‘Instant Storm’ timer to run down to 0. While it doesn’t matter where you fish before a lightning strike, I recommend staying close by to keep an eye on the countdown – just so you know when it’s about to happen!
It’s a time-consuming yet simple quest, as you have to wait for the timer to reach the end. However, you could always server-hop in hopes that the amount of time left will be lower after each one.
For the fruit bonus portion of this quest, all you need to do is find random pieces of fruit around the map. They’re common enough, so you should already have some in your inventory. The Fruit Bonus required for this quest doesn’t need to be a specific one, making even the most common fruit useful in this case.
When you cast 250 times, you obtain a Power Rush boost. The Power Rush must be active for this quest, so activate it just before the lightning strike happens. It lasts a few seconds, with a green bar to show you how long is left of the buff.
