Is the Ghoul race any good? Let’s find out! It’s a rare one, but is it worth the Race Rerolls?
To get the Ghoul race, you need to roll for it! It’s one of the rarest races in the game, alongside the Half Cyborg, Dullahan, Dragonic, and Contractor. Unlike the Fallen Angel race, you do not need to complete a quest to unlock the Ghoul race.
Because of its rarity, it has a 0.005% drop rate when rolling. To roll for a new race, you must obtain the Race Reroll item, which you can get via Chests, though it is not a guaranteed drop. Race Rerolls are an Epic rarity item, so they’re not too rare!
Chests drop via missions and boss fights, and come in different rarities. The loot pool inside chests contains a variety of items, as well as Race Rerolls.
As a Ghoul, you unlock access to two specific buffs. The first buff is a 2.5x DMG multiplier, increasing your DMG output exponentially. The second is a Lifesteal ability that replenishes your HP, scaling off 10% of the DMG you deal.
Lifesteal abilities deplete the HP of your enemy, whilst simultaneously adding to your own, making it an overall useful addition to your arsenal.
As well as the two buffs mentioned above, you also get a new customisation for your character. As this is the Ghoul race, it takes direct inspiration from Tokyo Ghoul. Upon unlocking it, a Kagune appears on your back with 4 tentacle-like shapes, reaching over your shoulders and around your hips.
