Just getting started with the new Undecember game? So are we! The ARPG game that combines button mashing with a world full of gruesome monsters is right around the corner. We’ve compiled an Undecember weapons guide on the weapons we’ve found so far.

Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of Undecember. The exciting new action RPG is only just coming out of its demo phase, with the full game launching October 12. The game, developed by Needs Games, sees you play as a customisable character. You must grind your way through a world dirtied by ghouls and beasts all trying to gut you. The ultimate goal is to become the best Rune Hunter you can by farming and growing.

You can learn more about Undecember on the official site. If you’re a fan of games like this then we recommend checking out our Vampire Survivors Character Unlock Guide, Octopath Traveler: CotC Character Guide, Ensemble Stars Music Cards List, and Destiny 2 Code Guide. Now, on with the Undecember weapons guide…

Undecember Weapons

Okay, let’s take a look at all of the weapons that will be available when the game launches. We’ll include details on how we recommend using them along with how they might play out later down the line.

One-handed Sword

One of the first weapons that you find in the game, the sword is obviously the king of all your close ranged battles. Until it is upgraded, we recommend that you don’t try and take on hordes with only a sword.

Two-handed Sword

A variation of the sword, these swords seem to be even more powerful then their one handed counter-part. We suspect these swords’ attack speed will be significantly less than the regular sword.

Undecember Weapons – Bow

The bow is also a weapon that you find in your hands towards the start of the game. It’s the weapon that you would use for ranged attacks, so we recommend that you avoid using it up close.

Wand

The wand seems to be the balance of the sword and the bow, bridging the gap between ranged and close quartered combat. While it is decent at both, bear in mind it’s a master of neither.

Staff

The staff is quite elusive. It’s a weapon that, during the intro, you tend to favour due to its capability to wipe out hordes of monsters. When the game exceeds its prologue, however, it is lost from your inventory. This furthers our theory that it may be the most powerful weapon in the game.

Two-handed Staff

To gauge how effective the two-handed staff is, you can draw comparisons to the relationship of the sword and two-handed sword. While dealing more damage than it’s one handed other half, the two handed staff is much slower – something to consider!

Undecember Weapons – Dagger

The dagger might not be the most obvious option, however it can be very effective. The lack of weight of the blade allows for an increased movement speed. We recommend using these daggers for speedy attacks.

Two-handed Dagger

Much like the dagger’s one handed counterpart, the two handed dagger builds upon the damage. While one may ask why you wouldn’t always prefer the two-handed dagger by default, it’s important to note that it loses attack speed. Not to mention, it takes away the advantage of being able to weild two weapons at once.

Two-handed Battle Axe

Battle axes are two handed weapons that are a good alternative for a sword. They do almost the same thing, however a battle axe gives you more control over your haste as you smite enemies.

One-handed Battle Axe

The one-handed counterpart to the two-handed battle axe, this weapon deals less damage while giving you an increased attack speed in return. Using this weapon as a side significantly helps with crowd controlling when fighting in hordes.

Mace

The Mace is the beefiest of the melee weapons, doing more damage than the sword. To keep this weapon from being overpowered, the developers made the mace to have a slow attack speed, so you may want to consider that if you choose a mace as your primary weapon.

Blunt

The blunt is the king of the one handed weapon in terms of damage value. What can be considered a major drawback to this is the fact that the attack speed is low – a trait deemed to be uncommon in the one-handed weapon line.
