The Type Soul Vasto Lorde obtainment process is a lot simpler than I originally thought! Follow this guide to become a Vasto Lorde, as well as a Menos, Adjuchas, and even a Vastocar.

To start your journey of becoming a Vasto Lorde, you need to make sure you’re in Hueco Mundo. If not, you can open up the server tab and select the ‘HM’ button. Then, find a server to join!
So, you’re now in Hueco Mundo. The next step is to find the giant Menos that wander around – they’re easy to spot, as they tower over everyone and everything. Keep in mind that you need to find NPC Menos and not Menos that are controlled by a player.
This is because the NPC Menos drops a corpse once they die, whereas the Menos that are controlled by players do not drop a corpse. You need to interact with and eat the corpse to progress! Once you consume a Menos corpse, you become a Menos yourself.
Now that you’re a Menos, look for the round Colosseum area, and head past it on the left side. Keep going straight until you find the hole in the ground, and then jump inside to enter a mysterious forest. Why are you here, you ask? Well, there’s a bunch of NPC Menos!
Before heading into combat, make sure you have the Menos Cero ability equipped in one of your slots – this ability can be found in the Kido column on the skills tab. Defeat 1 or 2 NPC Menos, use your Menos Cero, and you’ll evolve into an Adjuchas.
If there are other players down here, or you’ve recruited a friend to help out, be aware that you must get the final hit before a Menos goes down. If you don’t get the final hit, it won’t count.
Right, you should be an Adjuchas now! The first step for this part is to defeat other Adjuchas. Similarly to the Menos process above, you must kill NPC Adjuchas, and not those controlled by players.
For every Adjuchas you defeat, you obtain 2 Mask Cracks, and you are required to collect 25 in total. Once you reach the 25 mark, mysterious lines of text will start appearing across your screen. You’ll also spot directional lines that start to flash on the ground.
These lines lead you to the Vasto Lorde NPC. Battle against the Vasto Lorde, and once defeated, you can eat his corpse. Congratulations, you’re now a Vasto Lorde!
If you’re on this guide, you’re probably only here to find out how to unlock Vasto Lorde. However, if you want to try out a Vastocar, you can hit control on your keyboard to transform from an Adjuchas.
