Getting Type Soul Shikai EXP isn’t as difficult as it seems at first. There are 2 main ways to earn it, both of which require a bit of a time sink.

Playing as a Soul Reaper? Go get your Shikai via the Type Soul Roblox page! You’ll also want your Shunko as a Soul Reaper/Shinigami, so have a read of our Type Soul Shunko guide, which teaches you how to get both the base and advanced forms. If Hollows are more your thing, then we’ve got a Gran Rey Cero Type Soul guide to look through as well!

If you’re not in Grade 2 yet, you probably don’t need this guide at the moment! But if you are, then you’re definitely in the right place, as Grade 2 onwards requires lots of Shikai EXP. Getting to Grade 2 is simple, if not a little dull. You need Mission and Division EXP to reach it, with Divisions being available from Grade 3.

How to Get Shikai EXP

The best way to get Shikai EXP is by meditating as much as possible. You need to meditate a total of 3 times before being taken to your Shikai Spirit (also known as the Shikai boss fight). Each time you meditate, even when above Grade 2, you earn Shikai EXP.

Meditation sessions can take between 10-20 minutes each, meaning you can go AFK for a short while. Although, at the end of each meditation, your character will not automatically go into the next session. Keep checking back now and again to see if your character is still sat down or not!

Shikai EXP will take you from Grade 2 to Semi Grade 2, and then to Elite Grade. Shikai EXP isn’t the only type of EXP you need though, as you’re required to farm the Mission and Division EXP as well. And don’t forget to throw Raid EXP and Grip EXP into the farming session too!
