Oddly enough, the first thing you need to do as a Quincy when you load in… is to die. This is easy enough to do, as you can find another player or NPC by wandering around. Don’t fight back, and let them kill you to move on to the next step.
All Quincies gain access to the main hub, Wandenreich. Search around the area for a glowing sword that is held by a statue, and then interact with the statue! If you’re a Lost Soul when you speak to the statue, you will then officially become a Quincy.
Now that you’re a Quincy, it’s time to start ranking up and obtain new abilities. From the get-go, you can unlock the Flashstep ability for your character via the Speed skill tree – luckily, this costs 0 skill points.
Making your way from Grade 5 to Semi-Grade 1 will take a bit of time. The best way to get to Semi-Grade 1 is by taking part in a range of missions that reward you with plenty of EXP. You can access these missions via a mission board – I recommend getting a party together to speed things up!
While EXP from missions still helps out with getting you to the Elite Grade, defeating Hollows is also a good shout. You can also earn EXP from farming raids, alongside Grip EXP. Basically, if you spot any Hollows wandering around, fight them! Take part in as many raids as possible as well.
If you wish to use either Blut Arterie or Blut Vene, you can switch them by tapping U on your keyboard.
Quincies can use bows and swords in combat. You can switch between both weapons by using the Quincy Cross to activate your bow! This can be done by tapping the ‘Tab’ button on your keyboard. There are a few steps you need to take in order to unlock your Schrift. It entails killing certain types of enemies, and not dying even once. It’s pretty tough, but with our Type Soul Schrift guide, you’ll be fine!
