How to Obtain the Type Soul Piety Weapon

Can’t quite manage to get the Type Soul Piety weapon? You should check if it’s worth your time first! While it’s a great weapon, it’s playstyle might not be for you.

Type Soul Piety

Also known as the Mother’s Piety, this Mythic rarity weapon has a low drop rate of just 0.5%. However, it’s now deemed one of the strongest weapons in the game by far. It’s only available for Arrancar/Hollow players though, which is a bit of a bummer for others!

How to Obtain the Piety Weapon

If you want the Piety sword, you have to rely on plenty of Hollow Boxes. A Hollow Box allows you to perform a Weapon Reroll, rewarding you with a random weapon of various rarities. To get a Hollow Box, you either need to earn it as a drop at the end of a raid, or you can buy one from the in-game Karakura Town shop.

For example, it’s taking 500+ rerolls for some players, with some players rerolling even more than that. It’s safe to say that it’s very rare weapon, so don’t be disheartened if you’re struggling to obtain it.

Piety Moves

The Mother’s Piety weapon has a strong M1 combo, as well as 2 Critical hits for both melee and ranged combat.

• M1
  • A combo of 5 hits
• Ranged Critical
  • Point at the enemy with your mouse cursor and hit the R key on your keyboard
  • Deals Posture DMG (3 times)
  • However, the enemy is able to block this Critical hit
• Melee Critical
  • When activating the Melee Critical, you gain Hyperarmor
  • You can Guardbreak the enemy, ragdolling them, whilst your character slows down for a second or two
  • Impale your opponent, knocking them back to ragdoll them
