Type Soul Hakuda

For the Hakuda skill tree, I recommend putting the majority of your points into it, with the rest going into Speed. The latter will speed up your attacks and overall movement, making it much easier to move around in combat whilst still striking damaging attacks. Plus, the Speed stat works well with the popular Light Resurreccion that everyone’s raving about. Light has a 0.5% chance of dropping though, with it being of Mythical rarity.

Best Hakuda Moves

These are, in my opinion, the top moves to unlock in the Hakuda skill tree!

Tora Reach

This move has 2 variants. The first being a ground attack and the second being a mid-air strike. Performing this ability on the ground allows you to quickly move towards your enemy while kicking them up. While in mid-air, you prevent your enemy from going back down while attacking with a combo. You need a total of 40 Hakuda for this one! My favourite strategy for this is to start with the ground variant, jump up, and then go into the air combo.

Absolute Defense

The only time you need to use Absolute Defense is when you’re in a tricky situation. It’s a defensive move that can protect you with a shield for a total of 2.5 seconds, but you need to make sure you’re holding down the ability button. If you let go of the button before the 2.5 seconds is over, you lose the shield. And, it only costs 15 Hakuda!

Shori

Shori is more of a movement-based ability, with its main focus being teleportation. You can teleport right next to your enemy whilst also sending them flying into the air. You can then follow this up with Death Flair or Tora Reach to deal airborne damage. 99 Hakuda is required for Shori! To obtain Shori, you need a Skill Box.

Death Flair

Like the Tora Reach move, Death Flair can also be done on the ground and in the air – but, it costs 99 Hakuda. If you’re on the ground, you stomp your foot down heavily to kill all enemies who are currently lying unconscious on the floor. However, if you perform the Death Flair while airborne, you summon a hurricane that swiftly moves towards all nearby opponents. If you want Death Flair in your arsenal, you need to obtain a Skill Box.

Spine Rend

Costing 50 Hakuda, Spine Rend sends you forward to knock an enemy down. This will cripple them, preventing them from being able to move, whilst also breaking their Hyper Armor. You won’t need a Skill Box for this move, as it’s part of the base Hakuda kit.

Catching Dragon

This one’s a pretty fun one to use in general, costing only 20 Hakuda. You can spin your enemy around you, before throwing them up into the air. This stops them from being able to deal damage, and you can follow it up with an air combo.

Pulse

A cheaper one! Pulse costs 18 Hakuda to use, which is pretty fair compared to the other moves above. It’s a great way to regenerate your Reiatsu, but you have to make sure you get a hit with the initial attack – luckily, it’s got decent range. Gathering Reiatsu and unleashing it towards your enemy with a successful hit, rewards you with Reiatsu regen!
