How to Unlock the Grade System

To unlock the Grade System, you need to become a Lost Soul. This can be done by killing off your character and then selecting a class to join. The options are:

  • Hollow
  • Quincy
  • Soul Reaper

The Importance of Grade 2

So, what’s so special about grade 2? Once you reach grade 2, you’ll unlock a bunch of new content to utilise and play through. Additionally, you need to be grade 2 to meet the requirements to unlock your Schrift!

As Type Soul is an RPG, your character’s strength is key for your overall progression. As you play through the game, you’ll be required to enhance your character in a variety of ways. Learn your abilities, upgrade your equipped gear, and familarise yourself with your chosen class.

There are certain fights that require more than one player, so make sure you join a guild as soon as possible. However, there are many active players on each server, so you’ll likely always have at least one person helping you out during explosive battles with mobs and bosses.

Challenges

In Type Soul, you’ll receive daily and weekly challenges to complete. These challenges provide you with an abundance of free rewards and EXP so they’re definitely worth doing.

The Hollow Mini-Game in 12th Division

The Hollow mini-game can be found in Division 12 – make sure you join this division beforehand!

  • Interact with the Divison Duty board
  • Text reading “Complete the Hollow Minigame within Soul Society” will appear on your screen
  • Select “Yes” to start the game
  • The aim of the game is to click on the Hollow icons as fast as possible – if you do happen to click on a Shinigami icon, it’s not the end of the world
  • Farm this mini-game to earn tons of EXP!
