Type Soul Divisions Guide

Divisions allow Soul Reapers to increase from Grade 3 to Grade 2 by completing Division quests and general missions for a mixed bag of EXP. Grading up is the key way to increase in strength within Type Soul so Soul Reapers must assign themselves a Division eventually. With 13 Divisions in total, it’s hard to decide which to choose, however. So, let’s get into each Divsions requirements so you can decide which is best suited to your preferred playstyle.

Type Soul Divisions Missions

• Division 1
  • Proceed to Hueco Mundo and enter the Mundo Forest to collect Shadows.
• Division 2
  • Slain Arrancar NPCs that spawn around Soul Society
• Division 3
  • Guide Lost Souls to their checkpoints within the Rukon area
• Division 4
  • Heal other players belonging to any faction around Soul Society
• Division 5
  • Whilst in Karakura Town, use Hollow Bait to spawn Hollow NPCs and kill them
• Division 6
  • Wander around Karakura Town and interact with the checkpoints
• Division 7
  • Wander around Soul Society and interact with the checkpoints
• Division 8
  • Spawn Hollow NPCs using Hollow Bait in Hueco Mundo and kill them
• Division 9
  • Touch checkpoints around Soul Society before the timer ends
• Division 10
  • Kill Hollow NPCs in certain highlighted areas around Hueco Mundo
• Division 11
  • Spar with other players in Soul Society (Must deal and take damage to count)
• Division 12
  • Partake in an Osu-like minigame
• Division 13
  • Enter Hueco Mundo and interact with the checkpoints in front of the Castle before the timer ends
