Type Soul Bloodedge Guide

Bloodedge is a new weapon added in the recent Type Soul update. This Legendary blade is a tool for Arrancars, meaning other factions can’t equip and wield it. Whilst it’s deemed strong, players remain divided on whether it’s now the strongest weapon. But ultimately that is down to preference. Let’s dive into how you can get this weapon so you can decide for yourself if it’s the new best!

How to Get Bloodedge

As mentioned, Bloodedge is an Arrancar weapon. This means only Hollow lineage players will be able to obtain it. Arrancar players can obtain loot boxes called Hollow Boxes, which upon opening spin for a random weapon. Like a gamble, you can’t pre-determine your odds so it may take a few tries to get Bloodedge.

You can get Hollow Boxes through successful Raids at a small drop percentage, or in the KT Store which spawns for 30 minutes after a Raid. In the KT Store, the Hollow Box will fetch you 40k Kan. Whilst quite expensive, the KT Store experiences stock rotation so you may not have Hollow Boxes as an option for a few Raids, giving you time to build up some allowance.

Bloodedge Showcase

Let’s get into the moves!

  • Block – A standard move across all weapons which deflects a portion of incoming damage, shielding the player.
  • Slash – A standard swipe at a target to deal quick damage, great when used in combos
  • Kick – The player lunges toward a target whilst a purple aura engulfs their leg, performing a powerful kick to a target
  • Top-down Strike – The player leaps into the air and slams the blade down on an opponent causing AoE damage
