The long-awaited sequel to Turbo Pizza is here. Check out our strategy guide for Turbo Subs and help Rebecca and Robert achieve their dreams of owning the best sub shop ever!

GENERAL TIPS

  • Turbo Subs is a fast paced game, it has 3 locations and a total of 60 levels. At the beginning of the game you will be given the option to play this game in either Easy or Expert mode. The difference between the 2 modes is that in Easy mode the first 20 levels will be easier than in Expert Mode. After level 20, both modes will be the same.
  • You should start with the Easy Mode if you’re not used to playing these types of games. If you’re a time management expert, then you should start off with the Expert Mode.
  • Rebecca, the main character, has the ability to carry 2 things at once, so make sure her hands are full at all times. Grab 2 of the same items at once, or pick up 2 different things in order to save some time.
  • You will be able to earn chaining bonuses for several types of things throughout the game. You can chain your tips by waiting until everyone has been served and then pick up them all up at once. You can have a menu chain which entails you handing out several menus in a row. All of these actions in a row will activate the Turbo Service Meter located at the bottom of the screen.
  • Once the Turbo Service meter has been activated, everything will move quickly, from your orders, your appliances to Rebecca and Robert. The Turbo Service meter will also help you earn cash fast since you will be able to serve everyone faster.
  • When the Turbo Service Meter IS activated, the combos you make will add to your level total only. When the meter is NOT activated, the combos you create will only charge the meter itself, the bigger the combos the faster the meter will fill up.
  • You don’t always have to serve people as soon as they come in. Wait a few seconds and start taking orders until most of the counter is filled up. This will allow you to make bigger chaining bonuses and also decide which orders to fill first.
  • Do things as organized as possible in order to avoid mixing up the orders. For example, I always preferred to place the condiments on the subs before I placed them in the oven. It helped me avoid confusion when it came time to deliver the orders since the condiments were already on.
  • Serving customers as fast as you can will earn you more money, the less time the customers have to wait the bigger their tip will be. Serve the angriest customers first since you don’t want to lose them. If an angry customer leaves, it will cost you $300 for every one that leaves.
  • Your score will depend upon how many customers you can serve in a given day. If you don’t move enough people through the lines, you risk the chance of losing the level. Not collecting the money in a timely manner will also not allow more people to enter the shop.
  • Sometimes it’s a good idea not to collect the tips because it will give you a chance to catch up on orders. Besides, collecting all the tips at once also gives you a longer tip bonus.
  • Pay attention to what is written at the beginning of a level, if it says “break out your toaster ovens, the business women are late for lunch” then you know you are going to get a lot of orders for toasted sandwiches so be prepared. If it says “everyone is doubling their sandwich order” you know that you are going to get some customers that are going to order 2 sandwiches instead of one.
  • It is also a good idea to deliver things that are closest to you. If 2 of the people closest to the counter want soda and chips then go ahead and serve them first and then take care of everybody else.
  • Be prepared, get the cotton candy and the coffee machine ready, even before you serve your first customers. Click on the coffee and cotton candy machine so they’ll be ready as soon as the first customer requests it. You can also make a few sandwiches ahead of time. Larger sandwiches take longer to prepare so make those first.
  • In addition to making things ahead of time, you should also replace something once you pick it up. If you pick up some cotton candy, click the machine a second time before you leave so that it can be ready for the next customer.
  • You can sometimes predict what someone is going to order. When somebody has a double order pending and they ask you for chips they will usually follow by asking for a drink. Get the chips and the drink at the same time in order to make a faster delivery – this will save you a lot of time.
  • Some customers will order 2 things at once. Make sure once you serve them that you don’t forget about their second order or they will lose patience and leave.
  • If you feel that you could have done better at a level, pause the game and then just press “restart level” so you can try it again. If you’ve already finished the game and did not get the score you wanted, you can click on “try again.”
  • When you grab or make the wrong item, there’s no place to put it. You can either throw it away or hang on to it until somebody orders it. It would be best to throw it away since doing so does not make you lose any points. If it’s a sandwich that was made incorrectly, you can order a new one. Once the new sub is prepared, it will automatically move the sandwich on the far right straight to the recycle bin.
  • If you have 2 sandwiches in your hand and you need to put condiments on both them, you can do them at the same time. It doesn’t matter which sub you picked up first, just add the correct condiments and they will automatically be placed on the right subs.
  • UPGRADES

  • As you progress through the game, you will be able to buy several upgrades for your shop. The more money you earn, the more upgrades you can buy.
  • You don’t always have to buy the upgrades as they are being offered, you can wait and save your money for the next round.
  • It is sometimes best to buy some of the priciest upgrades first like, the faster chef and waitress.
  • You should upgrade to a larger sandwich counter as soon as possible, you will be able to prepare and hold more subs in advance.
  • Shop Upgrades: When you buy upgrades to spruce up the shop such as, nicer floors, new windows, counters etc., they will add a 1/2 star to your Turbo meter.
  • Food Upgrades: These will actually help you earn more money per transaction, which could mean the difference between getting to your goal or getting an expert score. Potato chips, cookies and soda upgrades will add an extra $10 per bag that you sell.
  • Service Upgrades: You can upgrade Rebecca and Robert’s speed. I chose to upgrade Rebecca’s speed first since she had so much running around to do.
  • CHAINING BONUSES

There are 3 types of combos that will earn you some bonus money.

Make longer combos as much as possible in order to get bigger bonuses.

Tip Combo: You will earn a tip combo when you collect 2 or more tips in a row from the counter.

Menu Combo: Menu combos are basically performed the same way as a tip combo except that you make combos when you hand out 2 or more menus at a time.

Order Combo: Order combos are created when you deliver multiple items at one time. You’ll get a speed boost if you deliver foods of the same time together, such as two bags of potato chips or two soft drinks.

    TURBO SERVICE MODE

  • The Turbo Service meter is located at the bottom of the screen. Each combo you make will gradually fill the meter; the bigger the chain, the faster the meter will fill up.
  • When the meter is full, it will stay activated for 30 seconds.
  • Once the meter is full, everything will move with lightning speed. Rebecca and Robert will move quickly and all the appliances will prepare food faster.
  • Since everything moves so quickly during this period it will help you earn a lot of money in a short amount of time.
  • While in this mode, performing 3 or more combos will earn extra cash.
  • Whatever stars you have left in your turbo meter at the end of the day will give you bonus points.
  • TIP-STEALING THIEF

  • On top of all the things you have to keep your eye on, you also have to lookout for the tip-stealing thief. At any given time that there are tips on the counter, the thief will appear and try to steal them from you.
  • Whenever the thief appears you will hear a distinct sound, and you can also see him peeking on the side of the screen.
  • If you don’t see the thief appear early on in the level, he will not show up at all.
  • He doesn’t usually take the tips right away. He will wait, approach slowly by taking a step forward, and then take your tip.
  • You need to collect your tips before he gets too close to the counter. He will usually only steal the tip that is closest to where he is standing, so your other tips are safe for the moment.
  • The problem when the thief appears is that he can make you break an otherwise long tip combo, since you have to stop what you’re doing in order to collect the tips quickly.
  • The best way to handle the thief is to try and not collect the tips until you have to. Once you see him getting closer to the counter, grab the money closest to him first and then the rest.
  • You want to be able to collect as many tips in a row as possible, don’t jump right away when you see him. Squeeze in one or 2 more customers first and then collect the tips.
  • The thief does not show up after the store closes. The only way you’ll see him after closing is if he was already there before the closed sign went up.
  • CUSTOMERS

  • You can predict what certain customers are going to buy, even before they order.
  • Always look at their patience levels and serve the ones with the least patience first.
  • Do your best not to let anyone leave angry or you will lose $300 for each person that leaves.
  • The tattooed man is always in a hurry, so it is best to serve him right away. Most of the time he orders twice and all he usually wants are sodas cookies or chips. Don’t forget to give him his second order or he will leave in a huff.
  • The businessman orders toasted subs most of the time and is very patient. He can actually wait a little longer than most, so go ahead and serve other people ahead of him.
  • The man in the French beret comes in with little patience and will leave quickly if you don’t take care of him in a timely manner.
  • The men dressed in hamburger suits usually show up in groups. They don’t have much patience but they usually ask for things other than sandwiches. They like cotton candy, sodas, cookies and chips. You have to take care of them fast but their needs are pretty simple.
  • HIDDEN OBJECT GAME

  • About every 7 levels or so you will be asked to play a hidden object game in which you need to find the items on the list.
  • All the money you earn playing it, will count towards your total and can be used to purchase upgrades.
  • If you get stuck and can’t find some items, you can click on the star that is on the lower left side of the page.
  • You can also find an additional 1 to 2 stars scattered in each scene, every star you find will count towards one more hint.
  • When you click on a star for a hint, the item will pulsate until you click on it.
  • If you have any hints left from the last round they will rollover to the next game.
  • If you click too many incorrect items, you will have a 30 second time penalty.
  • Even though you may play the same scene twice, the objects may not be in the same location the second time around.
  • LEVEL EXAMPLES

  • All specific levels will play out the same, no matter how many times you play the game.
  • If you know you’re not going to beat a particular level, pause the game and click on the “restart level” tab. This will take you back to the beginning of that level.
  • These are just some examples to illustrate how to make the most out of certain levels.
  • Level 26 and 32

  • At the beginning of these levels, you should make sure that you have upgraded your sodas and cookies. If you upgrade the snacks and drinks you will earn an extra $10 for each one that you sell.
  • You will need those extra points because the majority of these levels consist of selling snacks and sodas.
  • It will help you get the expert level score faster since all you have to do is mainly serve cookies, chips and sodas.
  • On level 26 it is best to let the counter fill up with at least 4 orders before you start serving anyone.
  • On level 32, fill the counter with 6 customers before you serve anyone.
  • Everyone is ordering double, it will make it a lot easier to make fast money and get an expert score.
  • When you’re finished with all the cookies and soda they will all start asking for the same type of sandwiches, some with mayo and some with ketchup.
  • Make sure you prepare those types of sandwiches in advance since that is all they will be ordering.
  • Level 30

  • Most people will ask you to serve them the sandwich that is pictured on the left.
  • They will want it to be toasted and they will want a condiment or 2.
  • It’s a good idea to place some of those sandwiches in the oven so they’ll be ready. All you may have to do is put the condiments on afterwards.
  • Level 31

  • The robber appears so keep a good eye on your tips.
  • He will try to steal your money often so it will be hard for you to maintain a good tip combo.
  • However, you should be able to build a good menu and order.
