Welcome to Gamezebo’s walkthrough for Travel League: The Missing Jewels.

General Game Information

Hidden object game with 9 Chapters and 7 Mini games.
Click on "Options" on the main screen to adjust volume, screen size, music and to turn off the background animation if it causes your computer to run slowly.
The game can be played in timed or free mode and you are given a choice before you begin.
If you are in timed mode and run out of time you can continue to play but will no longer earn any points for finding objects.
There are multiple awards you can win which are discussed in more detail below. To see which awards you have won and can win click on "Awards" on the main menu screen.
Awards are offered for positive and negative actions in the game. (See below)
There is a storyline between every game screen click on the green dialogue boxes at the bottom where your character "Alex" is located to continue to the next sentence. You can click on "Skip" if you are re-playing the game and do not wish to wait for the text.
If you would like to re-read the text, you can click on "Diary" located below the list of items you are to find if you have missed anything.
All mini games can be skipped without penalty.
If you click on the screen in quick succession the screen will become blurry and disabled for a few seconds.
Finding butterflies in this game awards you with extra hints and there are at least 1 to 2 butterflies on each search screen. In this guide I have circled all butterflies in red for you.
Hints are cumulative and you can save them up to use on other screens.
Each search screen contains 1 red breasted bird that will give you a free hint. In the guide below I have circled all the birds in blue for you. Click on the bird and he will fly to and around an item in your search list. Pay close attention as he will only do this once.
IMPORTANT – The game has a randomized list of items each time you play. You will be asked to find a minimum of 9 items per screen and for several you will be required to find a 10th item. For the sake of this guide I have listed the items requested in my game but you will most likely have different items.
All locations must be visited to complete the game but the order is completely up to you. The order I have chosen to play has no impact on the gameplay or outcome.

Game Elements

A. Game Timer – (Used only in timed mode) Located in the upper left corner of the screen. Keep an eye on the timer during the game. If you have to leave the game for any reason in timed mode be sure to hit "Pause" (See image item "F" above.)
B. Location – In this area you can see what Country you are in and it will show your user name.
C. GPS/Item List – Here you will find a list of the items you are to find in each screen. Note at the top you can see the name of the location you are in.
D. Hints – Next to the tiny light bulb icon is your hint indicator. The hints will add up every time you find a butterfly in a search screen. Note- There is an award for playing an entire game without the use of any hints. NOTE – If you click on any item in this list you can see its silhouette to help you find the item without penalty. (See example in picture below labeled "Travelscan 3000")
E. Diary Indicator – Here you will see a picture of a book with a "?" on it. Click here if you want to read the storyline again and if you missed anything in between levels.
F. Options – In this area you have 3 buttons that help you navigate around the game. The first button will take you home to the main screen if you want to exit. The center button will take you back to the game map allowing you to choose a new location if you are stuck and want to try somewhere else for a while. The final button is the "Pause" button that you should be sure to use if you leave the game in timed mode.
G. Game Score – Here you will see your cumulative game score. Points are awarded for finding objects and the faster you find them the more points you will earn.
H. In each search screen you will see one bird (or a frog in under water scenes) near the bottom or middle of the screen. You can click on this bird or frog and they will move to an item in your list for you to find. Be sure to watch carefully as they will only do this once for one item and any further clicks you will find them grounded. In this guide each bird and frog is circled in blue.

World Map

Here is the map which you will need to access to travel to the various locations around the world. You will always see an indicator showing you where you are.
A. You will be able to determine your location here.
B. In order to move to a new location click on it and you will see the picture of the airplane shown above. Click on it and the plane will fly you to that location. Note that it could take days to get to your location and it affects the date and time on your game timer.
C. In this area along the bottom you will see the locations within the Country you are to visit. You may visit them in any order and you may toggle between locations in one country at a time.
NOTE – The post cards along the edges of the screen increase as you play the game. You can click on them at any time to see a full size picture of the location.

Travelscan 3000

When you click on any item in the list it will turn to a silhouette of the item to help you find it without penalty. (Note the yellow circled area in both images.)
When you click on the "Use hint" button the "Travelscan 3000" will scan the page and show you where the item is in color and highlighted in green as seen in image above. Click on the item while the scan is still working and you will get credit for finding the item.

Mini Games

There are 7 mini games located at different points of the game each time you play.
You will play all of the mini games just not in the same order each time you play under a new user name.
Mini games are located in the walkthrough below with the solutions. Some solutions are different every time such as the matching pairs game.
In the image above is the Mini game award screen. Each time you complete a mini game you have located a piece of jewelry needed to win the game. The area will colorize and highlight at the completion of each mini game. The game villains will also be seen behind bars once they have been caught in the game.

Travel League "Award Wall"

Here is the award screen you will see by clicking on "Awards" on the main menu screen.
The game has multiple awards you can win and if you mouse over the areas you can see a shadow of each potential medal and what you need to do to earn it. I suggest you do this before you play the game so you can decide which medals you want to go for.
There are medals for using hints, using hints fast and not using hints at all so you can not win every medal in one game.
Each time a medal is earned in the game you will be notified right away with a fanfare and a celebration icon.

WALKTHROUGH

USA – Tutorial

The game begins with this tutorial screen. You will be asked to find 7 items which may be different from the ones circled in yellow above.
Once you find these items and follow the tutorial instructions the game will begin.
NOTE – The butterfly circled in red is a hint for future use. Be sure to click on it in the tutorial screen.
IMPORTANT NOTE – The butterflies are always circled in red, the hint bird or frogs are always circled in blue and the 9 items that need to be searched for are circled in yellow. Any item if asked for after the initial 9 will be circled in green for purposes of this guide.
There are always at least 1 to 2 butterflies in each scene and always 1 bird or frog (in water scenes) located near the bottom or middle of screen.
You can move from location to location in any order and it will not effect the outcome of the game. You must visit all locations and complete them to win the game.

TO FRANCE

Go to the World map and click on "France" Click on the airplane icon and you will be taken to that location.

FRANCE – "Notre Dame"

In this screen you are asked to find 20 bottles of wine shown circled in yellow above.
There is also 1 butterfly hint circled in red and a hint bird circled in blue.

FRANCE – "Street Shop"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

FRANCE – "Burgundy"

Mini Game 1 – Assemble the Ring’s Stone

In this puzzle you are asked to move the stones into the center area with the use of the magnet.
The magnet will either attract of repel the stones and you need to manipulate them around the barriers until they are in the center area.
Once you get a piece in the center it will lock into place.
Click on the magnet and hold it down with the left mouse button and move it where you would like it to go.
Once completed you will see the number 19 in the stone which is a clue in the storyline.

TO ITALY

After you finish the mini game you will be taken to the world map where you can choose your next location. Click on "Italy" and then the airplane and you will be taken there.

ITALY – "Rome’s Forum"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.

After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

ITALY – "Venice"

TO UKRAINE

Go to the World map and click on "Ukraine"

Mini Game 2 – "Re-assemble the Boarding Pass"

This mini game may or may not appear at the beginning of your trip to the Ukraine.
Simply move the pieces into the shadowed area to reassemble the boarding pass.
Once you have the pieces in the right location they will lock into place.
You may skip this puzzle if you wish by clicking on the "skip" button on the lower right of the screen.

UKRAINE – "Small Restaurant"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

UKRAINE – "Village House"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.

UKRAINE – "Tram Cafe"

Mini Game 3 – "Match the jewels in the bracelet"

In this game you simply click on the jewels until you match all 8 pairs.
Note that your game will be different from the image seen above.
You may skip this puzzle if you wish by clicking on the "skip" button at the lower right of the screen.

TO JAPAN

Next go to the World map and click on "Japan" click on the airplane icon and you will be brought to that location.

JAPAN – "Secret Garden"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.
NOTE – In the Japan level there is a bonus screen. If you click on the sign that says "LAOS" seen circled in pink above you will be taken to this bonus screen. You can skip this option as it is offered in the next search screen as well.

JAPAN – "Matsuyama City"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.
NOTE – In the Japan level there is a bonus screen. If you click on the sign that says "LAOS" circled in pink above you will be taken to this bonus screen.

JAPAN – " Laos Butterfly Garden" – BONUS LEVEL

In this level you have 9 items circled in yellow to find and you are also given a hint bird circled in blue.
Instead of 1 butterfly there are 10 butterflies for you to find in this level which will boost your hints for future screens.
All ten butterflies are circled in red above.
There is no 10th item to find in this screen.

JAPAN – "Sushi Bar"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

Mini Game 4 – "Arrange the stones on the Brooch"

In this game you must move the gems along the slide bars making sure none of the lines intersect.
Where the lines intersect you will see glowing yellow spots.
When the lines do not intersect with any others they turn green.
The image above will show you one possible solution but there are many solutions to this puzzle.
You may skip this puzzle if you wish by clicking on the "skip" button at the bottom right of the screen.

TO EGYPT

Go to the world map and click on "Egypt" then click on the airplane icon and it will bring you to that location.

Mini Game 5 – "Locate the Egyptian currency"

This mini game can appear at the beginning or end of the Egypt level.
Simply click on the Egyptian currency shown circled in blue in the image above.

EGYPT – "Coral Reef"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint frog is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

EGYPT – "Hotel"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

EGYPT – "Luxor"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

Mini Game 6 – "Locate the gems in the Necklace"

In this game you need to click on the pearls which turn over a few at a time to reveal jewels and you need to click on the correct combination so that all of the jewels are showing.
There are 2 puzzles to solve in this mini game.
Puzzle 1 click on the pearls in the order shown in the first image.
Puzzle 2 you must click on all the pearls once then click on them in the order shown in the image above.
There are other possible solutions to this puzzle.
If you wish to skip this puzzle you may do so by clicking on "skip" at the bottom right of the screen.

TO BRASIL

Go to the World map and click on "Brasil" as your next location. Click on the airplane button and it will take you to this location.

BRASIL – "Old Pier"

The 9 hidden objects are circled in yellow and may vary from what your game requires you to find.
The butterfly hints are circled in red.
The hint bird (or frog) is circled in blue.
After you find the initial 9 items you will read more of the storyline and will be asked to find one additional item which is circled in green.

BRASIL – "Church"

Mini game 7 – "Open the safe"

In this game you must line up all of the arrows as shown in the image above to open the safe.
This is done in 2 phases. The first phase you simply move each dial by clicking on it and moving it to the right as shown. Hold down the left mouse button as you move the dial.
Align the 3 arrows as seen in the first image so they face to the right.
After you align the 3 arrows a 4th dial will appear.
Click on the 4th dial until it aligns with the others.
In the second phase it is a little more difficult as the middle dial also moves with the center dial and the 4th dial moves with the 5th dial. (5th being the outermost dial)
To solve click the 4th dial and align it with the 5th.
Next click the center dial and align it with the 4th and 5th dials.
Next click the 2nd dial and align it with the 1st, 4th and 5th dials.
Finally you will click on the 3rd dial until it aligns with all the others.
The storyline will play resolving the mystery and the safe will open.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have finished the game!

Once the story resolves you will be taken to this screen which will show your score.
Be sure to look at the awards screen to see what you have been awarded.
You can play the game again and it will be a totally different experience as you will have new items to search for and the mini games may be in different locations throughout the game and may also have different solutions.
