Trapper 3D is a game about catching balls. They’ll spray out of a nozzle, and if you’ve built your structure just right you’ll be able to catch them all and move onto the next challenge. Of course, though, things are a little more complex than they at first appear.

Which is precisely why we’ve written this guide. We’ve played a good chunk of Trapper 3D and discovered the strategies you need to make sure every ball is landing in just the right place.

Whether this is your first time trapping or you’ve already released countless balls, it doesn’t matter – follow these suggestions and you’re going to take your skills to the next level. Here are the finest hints, tips and cheats for Trapper 3D.

Avoid the bombs

It’s important to make sure you don’t hit any of the bombs with your balls. If there’s a bomb within the structure you’ve built to catch the balls, then the structure is wrong and you’re going to have to rethink. Bombs, much like in real life, are very bad, and should be avoided at all costs.

Leave no gaps

For the most part, if there are gaps in the structure you’ve built the balls are going to escape and you’re going to fail the level. There are some situations when this isn’t the case, but it’s usually pretty obvious what these are. Make sure all the space is enclosed and you’ll capture all the balls and move on to the next challenge.

Look at the arrows

Look at the arrows on the objects you need to move. They’ll give you a pretty good idea of how they can be manipulated. If there are no arrows, there’s usually a point in the center of the shape – these figures can only be twisted where they are. Take a moment to see what can be moved, and how.

Check the pins

On some levels there are pins hovering above the ground – this means you need to fill that specific place with balls. Make sure when you build your structures that those places are properly surrounded otherwise you’re going to fail the level.

What can I buy with the coins?

You can spend the coins you earn on new skins for various aspects of the in-game furniture. You’ll find these in the shop in the top right corner of the screen every time you start a new level. They don’t change anything about the way the game plays, so by all means buy them if you want, but don’t bother watching the videos to increase your haul.
