Traffic Cop 3D is, as you might imagine, a game about being a traffic cop, presented in three dimensions. You’re driving your cruiser around, finding criminals, getting involved in chases and ramming people off the road. It’s fun, but there are some things you’re going to have to understand if you want to get the most out of the experience.

And that’s exactly why we’ve written this guide. It’s packed full of the strategies we’ve picked up during our time playing Traffic Cop 3D. Follow these and you’ll be ruling the roads in no time flat.

It doesn’t matter if you’re about to pull over your first offender or you’ve already collared some villains, you’re going to find something here to take your cop skills to the next level. So let’s do this – here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Traffic Cop 3D.

You don’t need to watch the videos to get the new moves

When you unlock new actions, you’re told you need to watch a video to unlock them. That isn’t the case. Skip the video and you’ll find the new action – a megaphone, ramming, pursuit and so on – is available in the next level. You’ve just saved yourself a few minutes of time. You’re welcome.

Ram after you’ve tried to pull over

If you just start ramming a car, it’s not going to stop. Instead you need to try and pull it over first. Once you’ve done that and it hasn’t complied, you can start driving into the back of it. Eventually, all being well, it’ll stop and you can dispense some justice like the control freak you are.

Play the chases

When you get the chance to chase a car, you should take it. It does mean you’re going to have to watch a video, but they make a nice change from scanning number plates and deciding what to do. You’ll also get some decent goodies if you play them, so they’re worth the extra time.

Make the right choice

When it comes to deciding what to do with the people you pull over – indeed, when it comes to deciding whether you should pull them over at all – use your common sense to make the right choice. If their record is mostly green, it’s best to let them be. If it’s red, pull them over and, depending on the severity of their crimes, arrest or fine them.

What’s the cash for?

You can spend the cash you earn on upgrades for your police car. These range from a new paint job to a completely new vehicle. All of the changes you can make are aesthetic, though – they don’t make the gameplay itself any different. By all means spend your cash, but don’t worry about watching videos to increase your haul.
