Hotta Studios may have just launched the supposed Genshin Impact-killer, but Tower of Fantasy update 2.2 is hot on its heels. With exciting new mini-games to play, a new district to explore, and a range of new events coming up, there’s plenty to do in the game!

Tower of Fantasy is a brand new open world gacha RPG that features a ton of characters to collect, a huge world to explore that’s full of secrets to unlock, and a surprisingly engaging story to uncover. If you’re a fan of Genshin Impact, you’ll have a wonderful time with Tower of Fantasy.

You can learn more about Tower of Fantasy on the official site. We’ve covered the game extensively since launch. Make sure to grab the free goodies in our Tower of Fantasy codes, learn what the best characters are in our Tower of Fantasy tier list, and check out the new character, Tower of Fantasy Frigg, coming soon.

Tower of Fantasy Update 2.2

We’ll break down the specific features in more depth below, but here’s a list of everything that’s coming in Tower of Fantasy 2.2:

  • Mirroria District B/C
  • Void Abyss
  • PvP Critical Abyss
  • Mini-games (Fishing, Arcade, Mahjong, Pet Feeding)
  • Mirroria Spacerift
  • Microreactor
  • New storyline
  • New events
  • Server transfer feature
  • SSR Tian Lang added to the game

Tower of Fantasy Mirroria District B/C

Mirroria is one of the latest areas in Tower of Fantasy, initially being added to the game back in 2.0. With the 2.2 update, we now have the Mirroria District B/C, which means more areas to explore!

The Mirroria District B/C introduces areas such as:

  • Treasured Garden
  • Mirramoon Street
  • Aquaria Place
  • Coolyland
  • Entertainment Center (plus the Entertainment Center Balcony spacerift)
  • Tower of Tomorrow
  • Star Apartments
  • Mirafleur Hall Guest Room
  • Oasis Club
  • And more!

New Abyss Modes

To unlock Void Abyss you need to clear the Void Rift. Void Abyss is similar to the Void Rift, as the mode resets every month. You also need to be level 80 overall, so it’s time to get grinding!  The Void Abyss also introduces a new feature called Abyssal Tech.

Abyssal Tech provides you with a variety of buffs that you can obtain by using resources. Please keep in mind that you can only get these Abyssal Tech buffs before you go into the Void Abyss instance.

The Critical Abyss is a team-based mode, with PvP. You all need to be level 80 to unlock this game mode, and it opens up every day between 12pm and 12am.

Mini-Games

Mini-games are finally here! While they may not contribute to the overall storyline and main gameplay, they’re extremely fun. Sit back and relax as you fish, or have some fun with the arcade mini-games.

You can also enjoy an exciting game of Mahjong, and then wind down with the Pet Feeding feature.

2.2 Events

There’s a wide range of new events that will be added throughout the span of 2.2. Let’s take a look at them!

  • Supply Run
  • Winter Festival Series
  • Yesterday Once More side missions (limited-time)
  • ToF Referral Program
  • Tian Lang Limited Banner
  • Lyra Limited Banner
  • Claudia Limited Banner

Server Transfer

Tower of Fantasy players have been waiting for the Server Transfer feature, and now it’s finally coming! It’s important to note that you can only transfer servers in your region. The main concern was whether or not you lose your progress and items. Luckily, this isn’t the case! Once you transfer, all of your items, characters, and weapons will be moved over.

And that will do it for our Tower of Fantasy update guide. Make sure to grab it via the links at the top of this page, check out our other guides linked in the third paragraph, and bookmark this page and check back daily for more solutions.
