The key to getting the ball safely into your receiver’s hands isn’t throwing it directly to them, it’s throwing it into the space around them. Not only does this cut down the chances of dropping the ball, it also gives your receiver a head start on the defender.
Look at the routes before you throw and understand where the receivers are going to be. You don’t have to throw exactly into the routes – instead throw beyond them and let the receivers go and get the ball.
Don’t forget to upgrade your defence as well as your offence. Having the strongest offence in the world isn’t going to do you any good if your D-line can’t stop the opponent from scoring.
If you’ve only got enough cash to upgrade one player on the defence above the others, it should be the MLB. Think of them as the QB of your defence. You’re not going to be able to stop the other team every time, but you only need to do it once to win the game.
