Our Tales of Tanorio Chewaqua evolution guide sheds some light on one of the coolest evolution lines in the game so far! So, how exactly does this cute dog turn into a Ghost Type jester wolf?

Tales of Tanorio is a Roblox game based heavily on the Pokemon franchise. Each Tanorian has a unique design, with inspiring evolutions, and a range of different Types. Prefer Ghost Types? It has them! Or do you like Grass Types? Look in the bushes! With shiny hunting, community-based route buffs, and mounts, Tales of Tanorio is the place to be for Pokemon fans alike.

Head to the official Roblox page to get evolving. It can be difficult to pick which starter you want! No matter which one you picked, we’ve got evolution guides for all 3. Take a look at our Tales of Tanorio Charcile Evolution guide and our Tales of Tanorio Rabush Evolution guide to learn more about the starters.

Tales of Tanorio Chewaqua Evolution

The cute water dog is a popular one to pick! Who could resist its cute little ears and puppy-like appearance? As a Tanorian levels up, it eventually evolves into a larger, more powerful being. While this usually gets rid of the initial cuteness (most of the time), your Tanorian’s power increases significantly. It’s just the price you have to pay for strength!

How to Evolve Chewaqua

Evolving a Tanorian is straightforward, but it takes quite a bit of work. You need to farm EXP and grind some levels! To evolve Chewaqua to its next form, it must be level 16. To get to level 16, make sure to use Chewaqua as much as possible in battle.

If its evolution is your main priority, then try to solely use Chewaqua! As encounters are random, you can’t always guarantee that your opponent will be weak to Water Type moves though.

Aquazol

Once Chewaqua reaches level 16, it evolves into Aquazol! Despite what I said above about evolved Tanorians becoming less cute, I think Aquazol is even cuter than its prior evolution. This time, the creature looks more like a smiling fox. Both Chewaqua and Aquazol utilise the Bubble Bath ability, which nullifies all damage taken when an opponent attacks with a Water Type move.

Jespirit

art of jespirit from tales of tanorio, it is a ghostly wolf, with a floating tail that looks like a pointy boney hand, its feet are detached from its pink calves and its wearing a collar that resembles a jester hat with balls at the end

This evolution changes the overall theme of the Tanorian entirely, and I’m here for it! When Aquazol reaches level 36, it evolves into Jespirit. Not so much cute, but a lot cooler appearance-wise this time around. The creature is now a fully grown wolf, with a collar inspired by jester hats.

Its tail is now a bone with a large ghostly hand attached to it, as its feet are detached from its legs. If you couldn’t tell from that description, Jespirit is indeed a combination of a Water Type and Ghost Type!

How to Find Chewaqua in the Wild

If you didn’t pick Chewaqua as your starter, fret not, as you can capture it in the wild! However, you do need a certain item to spawn them in though. By using a Conservation Incense, you can spawn the starters on the current route that you are situated in.

If you don’t want to part ways with your cash/Robux, you can wait until another player on the route uses one themselves, as it activates for all nearby players. To learn more about it, have a look at our How to Get All Starters in Tales of Tanorio guide, which goes into more detail regarding the Incense items!
