Tales of Tanorio is a Roblox game based heavily on the Pokemon franchise. Each Tanorian has a unique design, with inspiring evolutions, and a range of different Types. Prefer Ghost Types? Before I start, it’s key to remember that the Astaroid Tanorian only spawns when the Shooting Stars condition is active. This weather type significantly increases the chances of Light Type and Cosmic Type Tanorians spawning. Astaroid is a Cosmic Type, so you’re going to be relying on this weather condition as you hunt for it! As for its specific location, it doesn’t actually have one.
As long as the Shooting Stars weather condition is currently ongoing, an Astaroid can appear in any location through each route. If this sounds a little frustrating, that’s because it is. There are a lot of places to visit in Tales of Tanorio so far, so you’ll have to quickly navigate across the map in search of the Astaroid. If you manage to unlock the fast travel feature, this makes it slightly easier.
The Astaroid Tanorian also has a Shiny variant! Instead of its usual blue hues, it turns into more of a yellow and brown colour scheme with pink details in the middle. Before you head into combat with an Astaroid, it’s best to know what it’s weak to and which attacks it can resist!
I suggest having a sufficient amount of Professional Tanocans and Premium Tanocans on hand to boost your chances of successfully capturing the Tanorian. If you only have normal Tanocans, you might find it difficult to capture – still, it’s worth a shot!
Whittle its HP down as much as you can without defeating it before throwing a generic Tanocan. Don’t want to risk causing the Astaroid to faint? Try throwing a Professional or Premium Tanocan before attacking it. If that doesn’t work, then it’s a good idea to use attacks that it’s neutral to, as this won’t deal too much damage.
The Astaroid Tanorian doesn’t have any evolutions! It’s a base Tanorian through and through. Its base stats almost match that of a legendary Tanorian, but it’s not quite there. Still, it’s a sought-after companion for a reason, and it’s pretty powerful in battle.
