Sticky Flip is a game about throwing a rubbery… thing on to various surfaces. It manages to squish together hilarity and challenge into a single package – honestly, the biggest challenge here is often not laughing out loud when your rubbery… thing lands in an inappropriate place.

While the idea behind the game is pretty simple, it’s actually pretty tough, once you get past the cackling. Which is why we’ve put together this strategy guide – it’s packed full of the finest hints, tips and tricks that we’ve discovered during our time playing Sticky Flip.

Whether you’re new to the game or you’ve been playing for a while, there’s going to be something here that’ll help you out. So let’s get on with the very best hints, tips and cheats we could find for Sticky Flip.

You only get two taps

You get one tap to launch you from whatever you’re stuck to and another while you’re in midair and that’s it until you connect to something else. There are no triple flips here. Bear in mind you don’t always have to double tap – in fact, quite often if you do you’re going to end up flopping around on the floor.

Watch out for sandwiches

Landing on a sandwich gets you some extra points, but it can also throw a massive spanner in the works. Since they’re not attached to anything, your momentum will often send the sandwich tumbling, giving you a short window to leap off or fall to your doom. By all means aim for them, but beware of the consequences.

Remember where you went wrong

When you’ve failed a level – which you will – remember where things went wrong and try and do something differently the next time round. You have to learn from your mistakes and slip ups otherwise you’re condemned to eternally repeat them. As true in life as it is in the game.

You don’t have to land on everything

You won’t get penalized if you leap over an obstacle without touching it. You might get fewer coins at the end of the run, but completing the level should always be your goal. If it’s easier to bypass a piece of the scenery completely then you should do it.

Land on any side of the finishing block

You don’t have to land on the top of the finishing block – you can land anywhere on it to finish the level. The block feels a little more magnetic than the rest of the scenery as well, so if you get near it there’s a good chance you’re going to suction on.
