Game Introduction – Stack Rabbit
Stack Rabbit is a match-three puzzle game created by Disney Mobile. You hop around various vegetable patches and make matches of three or more in a specific order to feed a passel of hungry baby rabbits. Gamezebo’s quick start strategy guide will provide you with detailed images, tips, information, and hints on how to leap into a bountiful harvest.
Quick Start Guide
Getting Started
- Stack Rabbit is free to play. You can download it by using the “Available On” box at the top of this page.
- When you start up Stack Rabbit for the first time, you’ll be asked if you want to enable Push Notifications. You can switch this setting at any time.
- You’re presented with some information about disabling/enabling the game’s in-app purchases. Make sure to adjust the game’s settings to your preference.
- You’re given some brief instructions on how to play Stack Rabbit, and then you’re turned loose in a veggie patch to gather bounty.
How to Play
- Objective – Stack Rabbit stars Ben, a white bunny who’s been put in charge of his nephews and nieces while his brother is away on vacation. Ben has a lot of mouths to feed, which means he must collect a lot of vegetables. Collecting said veggies is a matter of hopping around each level and making stacks of three or more in the indicated order. Ben is only allowed a certain number of matches, and if he doesn’t have all the designated veggies by the time the counter runs out, he must try again.
- Main Menu and Options – You can access Stack Rabbit‘s main menu and options on the title screen and the map by pressing the tab in the lower left-hand side of the screen. Here, you can adjust the volume of the game’s music and sound effects. You can also access Disney Mobile’s customer service and choose which language you’d like to play in.
Making Matches
- Jump Around -The levels in Stack Rabbit are set up on an isometric grid. You can move up, down, left, and right. When you jump into a patch that contains a fully-grown vegetable, Ben automatically puts that vegetable on his head. When he makes a match of three or more veggies, they disappear. Ben’s awarded points for each match.
- Sprouts Into Veggies -Every time Ben makes a match, the sprouts on the game board grow a little. Sprouts become fully-grown after three matches.
- Not Too High – Ben can only stack seven vegetables on his head at one time, unless you buy a power-up that permanently allows for more. If Ben exceeds his limit, the veggies will fall off his head, and he’ll lose valuable moves.
- Mind the Order – Typically, you’re required to collect veggies in a certain order. You can match vegetables in any order and they’ll still count towards your point total and make sprouts grow, but if you don’t collect the vegetables indicated at the top right-hand side of the screen, you won’t make any level progress.
- A Different Kind of Match -Some levels require you to collect crated vegetables, stack vegetables in a certain order, and so on. Be prepared!
Beware of Dog
- Countdown to Awakening – Ben’s attempts to feed his family are hamstrung by the farmer’s dog, Max. The dog spends most levels asleep, but he’ll wake up and chase Ben away if Ben doesn’t manage to collect all the required vegetables within a certain number of matches.
- Doggy Boss Battle – Once in a while you’ll do battle with Max. You must collect all the listed vegetables while dodging the pooch’s charge. If you’re caught, you lose a life.
Five Lives to Live
- Carrots Mean Life – Stack Rabbit starts you off with five carrots. Each carrot serves as a life. If you fail to collect enough of the right kinds of vegetables, or if you’re caught by the dog, you lose a carrot.
- Replenishing Carrots – Carrots build up again over time. You can also ask friends for carrots over Facebook, or permanently increase your carrot count via a purchase from the in-game store.
In-App Purchases
- Consumable Power-ups – You can buy power-ups to give Ben an edge, including lightning veggies and crop dusters. These power-ups come in bundles that are purchasable through the game’s store. Access the store using the “Store” button on the upper right-hand side of the screen.
- Permanent Power-ups – Stack Rabbit also lets you buy lasting power-ups. “Extra Matches” allows for five extra matches on each level. “Bigger Stack” lets Ben carry up to eight vegetables at once. And “More Carrots” gives Ben a permanent increase of three extra carrots (three extra lives).
Social
- Facebook – If you connect to Facebook while playing Stack Rabbit, you can access the leaderboard, share your scores with friends, and ask them for extra carrots.
Tips
- Match Outside the Box -Every time you make a match, your match counter ticks down. Since you’re allowed precious few matches on each level, you might be tempted to avoid making matches outside of the stacks required to move on to the next level. While it’s important to budget your energy, it’s often necessary to make “rogue” stacks in order to clear a path to necessary vegetables, or to make sprouts grow.
- Match Three or More -You need to match at least three vegetables to make them vanish from Ben’s head – but if you collect any more of the same species in time, they’ll also vanish and count towards your total. When you match three, you have a precious couple of seconds to gather more vegetables, so use them wisely to save on matches.
- Hop To Safety -Empty squares and squares with sprouts in them can act as safe paths to grown vegetables. Navigate through them carefully to avoid picking up anything you don’t want to pick up.
