For everything you need to know about Souls Crossover X Reforging, look no further than my complete guide. Here, I detail what Reforging is, how to get started, how it works, and all statistical chances and enhancements you’ll uncover when giving it a go yourself. Find out if it’s worth your rare and hard-earned Gems, or if you’re better off tailoring your build the old-fashioned way.

Let’s get into it.

Souls Crossover X Reforging Guide

Reforging allows you to assign new stat buffs to Tools and Spells via RNG. Costing 5 Gems each from the Frisk-shaped Reforger in the main Lobby, this allows a quick gamble on enhancing your build.

Not all Reforging is successful, as two of the nine possible rolls will decrease the base stats of Tools and Spells.

Reforce Chance Rates

The chance to attain each Reforge Tier when rerolling.

  • Broken: 15% chance
  • Poor: 12% chance
  • Common: 30% chance
  • Uncommon: 20% chance
  • Rare: 12% chance
  • Epic: 7% chance
  • Legendary: 3% chance
  • Mythical: 1% chance
  • Secret: 0.1% chance

Note: Common has the highest chance to reroll.

Reforge Stat Differences

How much each Tool and Spell enhances per Reforge Tier. (Outcome depends on base stats of the Tool and Spell).

Note: The debuff stats are RED, and the buffing stats are GREEN.

  • Broken: -15% DMG
  • Poor: -5% DMG
  • Common: +5% DMG
  • Uncommon: +10% DMG
  • Rare: +15% DMG
  • Epic: +25% DMG
  • Legendary: +35% DMG
  • Mythical: +50% DMG
  • Secret: +100% DMG

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get Gems?

Gems are a rarer currency, earned through Daily Rewards, Codes, Index completion, and unlocking Resets.

Current Active Codes

  • sub2noctyra:: 10 Gems and 100 Gold (LVL 10 required)
  • 1kccu:: 100 Gems (1 Reset required)
  • releasepart1:: 25 Gems

Where is the Reforge NPC located?

In the main Spawn Lobby. You’re looking for the Frisk-inspired NPC with Reforge written above their head.

What is Reforging?

Reforging allows you to reapply new stats to Tools and Spells to increase or decrease their power and versatility, depending on the roll. Ideally, you want to buff and maximise stat potential, but when in the hands of RNG, each roll risks being worse than the last.

Is Reforging worth it?

If you have disposable Gems, I definitely think it’s worth rerolling. The chance of getting a Common Reforge (+5% DMG) is fortunately higher than Broken or Poor, which actually decrease the value of your Tools and Souls. Anything above Common is a bonus.
